The John Does that appear on the LS shores seem to have a connection to it, and the operation seems to be part of the El Rubio dossier. So who is this guy or thing and who or what could he be associated with? Duggan? Discuss. In the context of law enforcement in the United States, such names are often used to refer to a corpse whose identity is unknown or unconfirmed. suicidal_banana Posted November 19, 2020 Share Posted November 19, 2020 How about: El rubio is the 'mayor' of the island that's got his hands into all kinds of dirty stuff, duggans blackmailed him to get rid of some people on the island, as it will later turn out these people were working for chengs to plan a heist, the cases hold details about duggans mansion vault etc. Lester (after having some words with Chengs about why they tried to go around him) will arrange a meeting with this guy, we use the details from the suitcases & the help of El rubio to rob the duggans blind, after wich (read: in re-re-release) we've "earned" the right to buy a mansion there and do some crim work with El rubio & companions. The John Doe in the trailer is the dead guy on the beach, however "El Rubio" was a known affiliate of this John Doe.
