Its not like we have to store it somewhere. Even if its custamizable, we can use a website for that

Quote me on this, i bet that we either have to own or not but the only way to get to the island other than the heist itself is to have a SUBMARINE and it teleports you to the other map, you're in the same session but in different map or something like that. I still think they will add it on bottom left side of the map but submarine should play huge role on it.

Sooo any predictions for when will they show that reward vehicle? They said "Stay tuned for details on your rewards.". i'm guessing next week?

Also we should expect to see 1 or 2 newswire articles + another trailer.

like all heists, we have a specific place for planning, I believe this time will be no different, and I believe it could be a kind of dock, where we can store the submarine and customizable boats, since we saw that new ones will come.

My ideal (but unlikely) storage for the Submarine HQ. We buy the Merryweather base in the docks, keep the same shape but make it an enclosed building  (so players can enter it as their own version). Its large enough to storage the sub and a fleet of boats. Merryweather were leaving the US at the end of story mode so makes sense they will sell their assets.

 

Problem; I believe multiple activities, gang attacks, missions take place there ... still just a thought!

 

Captain Bogdan all the way ... buy the sub and new vehicles from his Russian website - "Merchant of Menace" :D

Which aspect? the Freeroaming part or the going to the island seamlessly?

 

It makes sense why it would be heist only but it would be a bit of a shame if it was because the island would be really cool to explore, and if replayability wasnt an issue i would take over the island myself run my own drug and import trades on the island

Well they can pretty much just bolt a big door to the side of a cliff and pretend there is an underground harbour behind it.

That way we would have a place to store the sub and a few boats.

 

I mean it worked with the bunker doors and the facility hatches, so why not do it again.

Sadly I think the island is not going to be explorable in the heist.

They state so in the Newswire article as well, their wording seem to indicate that its a heist only location...

 

They could have a couple of setup missions on the island. Who knows.

For now expect the worst and if we receive the best we will be pleasantly surprised.

Yan is almost surely trolling the people who voted for a seamless free roam experience. Probably means the island will be accessible via a cutscene and maybe even a different map in the same session. Either that or we are gonna have to wait for next gen to have the island in free roam.

Usually FiveM releases a quickpatch to make the new .exe compatible, the DLC content itself has to be exported by the server owner and streamed. Who knows when they'll include the content. It took them a year to include the Casino DLC content. I'm not even sure the summer update is included even.
