Instead we've only got so far as once again returning to a Tiered System we had back in the middle of last year, where individual areas of the country are assigned one of five levels of lockdown. For comparison sake; England DO have a proposed earliest date (June 21) which would see the whole of England return to the 2019 way of life.

 

2 - There's a current legal battle between the current and former First Minister's. The former FM was recently accused of hanky-panky at the height of hashtag movements, but found innocent. He then immediately and is still currently putting forward a counter-allegation that the original accusations was a corrupt power move by the current First Minister and other top dogs of what is now her party to "remove him from the picture" so to speak.

 

3 - Scotland has its election coming in May. Depending on what way Issue 2 goes, that will most likely be a major factor in how the election goes.

 

4 - The current First Minister has been primarily campaigning on the idea of independence, getting Scotland to leave the UK and join the EU for the last 5 years ever since the Brexit vote happened, with the former first minister having lost an independence vote in 2014.

 

 

So imagine trying to run a business in a country where all THAT is going on, let alone develop updates and another next-gen remaster of your biggest game ever.

I wouldn't be so pessimistic if i were you. Firstly, Rockstar North will likely be planning a return to the office - we don't know when but unless something drastically bad and unforeseen happens Covid-wise then it's realistic to expect a phased return starting in the summer. I don't know that for sure for Rockstar, but I do know of other companies in Edinburgh that are starting to announce plans like that. The thinking is that once we hit about 80% of the population getting a vaccine, you'll start to see things opening up again.

 

Rockstar North are even advertising for a Senior Workplace Manager. Why would they want one of those guys if they're keeping the office empty indefinitely?

 

As for the Shenanigans in Holyrood over the road, yeah it's pretty dramatic by Scottish political standards but in the scheme of things it isn't too bad. Brexit is much more of a local long-term risk to a global, interconnected organization such as Rockstar, which relies on workforce freedom of movement into its UK offices to bring in the best talent from Europe.

 

If you look around the world there's a sh*t ton of political instability everywhere. Post-Covid that won't go away anytime soon. Uncertainty and new risk is hitting almost every company in nearly every sector. Most of them just keep their head down and keep going, like they always have done.

Yes, that is true, but, unfortunately, not every country has that luck, and it will take some time until COVID cases as a whole start declining. Also using the fact that vaccinations are undergoing to downplay this whole situation simply isn't good and it will only lead to more cases if people just stop giving a crap because "i'm getting vaccinated anyway"

Well, what is left of drip-feed content is the brioso. The gold panther statue, may or may not be part of the drip-feed, R* can put the gold statue wherever they want. And the podium list is not a measure to know when a dlc will drop.

I really don't get them, any footage from the recent trailers for GTAO would have been a better choice for this, I would love to see PS5 footage but since they are not showing any, they should at least pick some good looking shots from the recent ones, unless their whole idea is to show how bad it is so the next version will look more impressive lol

All fun and games until your fingers start getting tired after a few hours of shooting, the feature is cool but it just looks like something that's gonna be broken and need replacing after some amount of usage (good thing they let you turn it off completely)

The extra prime discounts have been happening since January 30th 2020 and have lasted 2 weeks since they first began over a year ago.

 

The Verus free for 2 weeks is probably just to bring people back. It's a 200k vehicle that most people would not buy. R* have been trying to get as many people playing since Cayo Perico came out. We have already had a bonus on the heist that even without the extra was the best money maker in the game, 2x missions, bunker sales, biker businesses, special cargo and some really good sales like the sub and we got the go cart and the brioso for free. That is just in 2 months where as last year we would be lucky to get one of those bonus money events in 2 months. The prime discounts are the way they have been since they started and I don't think having the Verus for free for 2 weeks means anything other than R* are giving away a cheap vehicle no one will buy to get more people playing.
