Yesterday's update enabled three variables recently added with Cayo Perico update, and they just got removed two hours ago.

 

According to @alloc8or, those have to do with handling new metrics added with the Cayo Perico update, OBJECT_REASSIGN_INFO & OBJECT_REASSIGN_FAIL, variables that control object reassignment. In other words, stuff to do with network synchronization. Oddly enough, they tend to add them for a short while before removing them a few hours later.

 

A few weeks ago, they did a similar update but removed it an hour after. This time, they kept it for a whole day before removing it. This is likely Rockstar collecting data regarding session activity across all lobbies. They did similar experiments with RDO numerous times, collecting data concerning object reassignment and adjusting it via a background update or tunables.

Thing is I didn't play yesterday so they missed about 17,000

I made well over 75 million from it in just a little over 2 months with quite a few brakes inbetween. The last time I made so much was with import/export in about 8 months.

This is a valid concern, but my larger concern is that they won’t add enough let alone any garage space with the spring update and I won’t have enough room for new cars. Yeah, yeah, we got 2 garages with LSSS but we also got 30 cars between that update and CPH. Add an inventory system rockstar, it’s the only logical step. You cannot expect us to sell cars to make room, many of us will not do that.

Cops are Crooks, maybe. The Police in GTA games are just a gang with air support. It makes no sense for the player in one of these games to play as a cop, unless it's a disguise to rob something. Which I suspect is the angle they would go for if they release a CnC DLC.

 

But there are two other things to note- first is the GTA series tradition of Vigilante Missions where you grab an emergency vehicle and run over a criminal. GTAV obviously lacks those. The other is that police/emergency mods are among the most popular mods used by roleplayers who stream the game. I think R* is looking for ways to add some of the things RPers do to the vanilla game, to remove some of the temptation to mod it.

Yup the problem of space never goes away in GTA Online, even now in the times I still play am constantly managing my collection of cars and deciding what I can and cannot keep but that point is reaching it's

finale where I do not want to loose a particular car at all.

 

What they should really do here is make an 'Autoyard' so if your properties are full of cars but you want to get something new you can send it to your 'Autoyard' which keeps the car in storage and then when you are ready to use it you can just call it from the autoyard or swap it into your garage for use.

 

I know R* are the only developer that allows us to see all our cars at any one time in a property and they like that unique fact about the game but there will come a point where this cannot be done anymore so why not introduce the storage system and let us manage our cars/displays in garages this way?

I also have a feeling they might not add extra space if the spring update is of a small scale, especially if it is a filler racing update without any new properties.  Though I hope a sense of ocd kicks in for the dev team so that they round up 8 property slots to 10. 

 

What they did in LSSS was surprising. I hope they do it again.

Xbox has this "Looking for Game" thing for matchmaking players, if you go into it for GTAV it's like 50%+ "CvC rp Sandy Shores". Opened my eye a bit to what the playerbase might respond well to.

It is undeniable, Cayo Perico is THE greatest DLC that anyone could ask for, not because of the Payout or the Rate of Payout, as those 2 factors are roughly the same as how long it SHOULD take any of the other big Heists. Because they've made it 100% soloable, it alleviates the time that those NORMALLY take. But even then, there's still noobs who'll spend ages on Gather Intel, either not finding anything useful or spending hours trying to find every single detail every time. Of course they won't find any of the non-mandatory intel, like other entrances, exits or secondary targets, will rush in with the worst options and you'd swear they're actively trying to set the alarm off. Then there's people who refuse to take a second look at CPH because their first attempt took so long to do for "such little payout", either not wanting to see how easy they can make it or failing to understand how mindblowing the rate at which they can earn money that way is.

 

So the question is; what % of the playerbase actively keep getting Elite Challenge payouts of Cayo Perico in a 40 - 60 minute period? Like yourself, I've easily made a $80m profit in 2 months, when in the time between Casino Heist & Cayo Perico I only earned 100m. Although, life is catching up to me and I'll quickly not have the time to actively play like I have the over the last 11 months, and possibly end up resorting to my 2018 method of passive grinding once the jump to E&E occurs.

 

I try to hope the one benefit I have is the same thing Michael says on the Loud Approach of the Jewel Store Job.

"I've made good money doing it, enough to spend a long time NOT doing it".

There's few The Professionals in this game, the massive player base is casual and dont know how to heist properly. I made one with a random and he didn't scoop a single secondary object and would leave with the tequilla, making 900k plus the subtractions in the end so probably 800k at best. The problem is that people don't freaking watch a single tutorial and then start to rant about how hard is to make money in this game. That's why R* know what they can count with, they wouldn't make cayo perico this way if they have a negative backlash from Casino Heist (and negatively i mean, the majority of people grinding like crazy and shark cards sells going to waste). They know that there's a minority player base that they are perfectly aware that they will never sell a single shark card bcz they have millions upon millions, and maybe 1B legit. But at least what they don't profit with shark cards with those players they profit with their playtime and that helps the statistics.

I said this back when the update was originally rumored, but I think it would definitely make sense to use the Arena War model -- but good this time! Meaning we'd get a bunch of Cops 'n' Crooks style PvP missions: car chases, bank robberies, maybe some hide-and-seek stuff where you're off radar when sneaking, etc. Then like the arena garage, we could store customized vehicles in one of the police departments; maybe the more expensive ones like Mission Row could also store a personal police chopper on the helipad. Unlocks like police uniforms would be possible, although not requiring 1000 hours of grinding. I don't know... sounds fun to me. But maybe some people hate adversary modes no matter how good they are.

I don't like PvP, but as long as there is also an option for PvE jobs to replace rankings  that would unlock such items, i'm all for it. But i doubt R* would implement such system where both modes would be available for ranking. If Arena War had PvE mode, online bots instead of players, it would be played by more players, add to that less grindy way to rank up, so everyone could unlock everything a lot faster, it would be way more popular for sure. Another missed opportunity by R*.

I always liked the idea by @Crateman of having freemode jobs that pay arena points, each unlocked by and involving one of the twelve arena vehicles.

Thanks forumer, i send this idea to the feedback page, in hope some one notices It...My Best idea it's called "extra crispy" involving the cerberus...You need burn npcs in different locations like a og kill frenzy...but all the aw vehicles have potential, imagine this Jobs like vip paying 500/750 AP points for each job...iam rank 211 in the arena war that spacedocker is still far far away from me...

Adv modes can be funny. The problem is that R* was into a addition spree for about 4 years, they made so many that the few ones that were really cool became lost in the pile of the bad ones. And seems like just now R* came to the conclusion that Adv. modes weren't being that much played and it's already quite some time since we received the last one.

Surgical masks are the last thing anyone needs to see in GTA (or any sort of media) and will be for quite some time even after this sh*tshow is over. No one doing any form of distraction needs to be reminded of what's happening outside of their comfort zone.

Interesting how he said this before the Playstation State of Play announcement. Anyways, let's just wait and see tomorrow.

They said they will continue on from announcements that happened for the PS5 reveal event, so I'd say there is a high chance that we will get some info on the GTA V next gen version.

If iam not mistaken in the last Gerald mission fast peddling when You go to the meth lab there are like Two guys dressed in white like scientists wearing like a white disposable face mask
