just because it has changed doesn't means every game company will change like if it was a trend (despite most of them have, i might be wrong), and focus groups? sorry for my ignorance on that part but I have no idea what that is, and this is GTA we are talking about, parodizing stuff and being politically incorrect has been part of the games for a while

custom session was one of the best things IV multiplayer had, something like that will have made gtao even better.

For sure. How many of the issues this game has been plagued with, since day 1, would be solved with this one feature?

A lot.

That's why CnC will be exception; gaming has changed (IMO for worse) and making content politically incorrect with Focus Groups (read: ResetEra) just can't happen

The thing is, if we keep talking about certain subjects in a specific way, the snowball will grow bigger to the point that we will be making them taboos. Making them taboos truns them into subjects not able to been discussed and not to able to discuss something goes against free speech and that can be a serious thing. We need to distinguish certain subject under different contexts, we can understand that CnC was delayed at best due to a situation that have a lot of things in check and that are many times connected btw them racism, police brutality, social problems, etc., but since things calm down, i don't think that now making police a taboo subject in gta will make sense, if so, next gta we will no have more police, no more prostitutes, no more drugs, no more nothing and this game ends bcz it's a crime simulator game that simulates crime and never in any shape or form was pro-criminality it just reflects and simulate one thing that happens in real life.

Yeah, but while i still believe that we can't go that route (See comment above) we can't deny that R* is now into some kind of feud of T2, and those companies want to make money and they, from a financial point of view, will (or may) adjust the social reality that serves them the best, why you think that in every form of entertainment, games, movies, literature, it always reflects what socially we are living in? Why so many feminist movies about powerful and independent women? Bcz now, there's a population of females that want to be powerful and independent, so they will go to the theaters pay ticket for those movies and the industry will profit from it. That's why the market and capitalism search always for what people want or hope for, bcz that's the way they gain money.

Yea, why tf enemies are bullet sponges; It need to be fixed regardless if next update will be police themed (IMO unlikely to happen and CnC got scrapped due to Obvious Reasons) or not

Enemy npcs are not bullets sponges (except headhunter bodyguards) if you shot them in the head, it's one hit kill always and with all firearms. However for some odd reason, if you initially miss headshot and hit them in any other part of the body their health get buffed and after that even if you shot them in the head you gotta unload same amount of bullets as if you're shooting them in any other body part. This complicates contact missions and heist preps when you must play with other players, because if anyone miss headshoting npc, then rest of the players have to deal with bullet sponges. I don't know why that system is in place but it has to change. Also shooting npcs in legs should incapacitate them so they are not longer able to get up, but in this game they have bulletproof legs.

We definetly need in GTA more mafia aspects, bring zaibatsu (propper livery for the z-type), the yazuka (yazuka stinger), the triads (we have livery for Hermes), and other gangs from previous Games...this could lead to opening more interiors: cluckin Bell, burguer shot, Bean Machine Coffee, etc, this businesses could act as a front for laundering the money, and maybe You need attack/defend from other gangs, this could be such a Nice addition with more older and new Cars, luxury sedans, suvs, etc, and a big mansión with luxury garage with at least 60 slots (the more the better)

But for that they would need to implement those gangs in the game, at least the ones that already exist in it but for some reasons aren't in Online like the armenians and triads (free mode wise).

Storyline, Casino Work style missions and infinite bounty hunting missions (think GTA IV Most Wanted menu that activates a mission like those for Maude a few years back that unlocked the Stone Hatchet), that'd be the baseline if I were in charge.

Shortly ater Arena War released, I figured it'd be a good excuse to take the Arena War Career system, simplify it down to 100 Ranks and then base DLC's around that, just like RDO' Frontier Pursuits, except by releasing a Cop DLC they could title this supposed new era of GTA Online DLC's as "Criminal Pursuits". This would rectify the problem a lot of players like myself had, that after Rank 135, there is nothing else to unlock through ranking up, so it'd be a great workaround to get people playing longer for something other than just cold hard cash, to reach Rank 100 and unlock all the Trade Prices a DLC had to offer. Although given how 2019 seems to have orientated the direction of Online back to Heists like we were all expecting after Lester's final phone call upon completing Pacific Standard back in 2015, with a new (and the best ever) Heist being released merely a year later and the notion that E&E will have exclusive DLC's (please let "Expanded" mean what I want it to mean R*), I completely doubt the "Criminal Pursuits" model will ever be seen in GTA Online.

The problem with the rank is that needs a lot of playtime and usually shark cards are sold for those players who are casual most of the times and don't like to grind.

You prefer bcz it was better. You could even disarm the npc's with knifes for example and use them.

That why we need a change in the damage system. Bcz not everyone is good at headshoting and it's not that fun, but they do that on purpose i think, if you do survivals the npc's die every easily, but for some reason in free mode they are irrealistically resistant. And if you shoot someone in the leg they simply die.

Hoping the E and E edition improves face customization. Faces of all players look almost the same now lol

I'll be honest, I don't know if it's just me but I noticed this a few months ago. Thing is, I see tons of people with a "copypasted" face IRL, this has gotten to a point where a lot of faces look the same to me except for a few details but in general they look the f*cking same.

I know there's probably a biological explanation to this but it feels as if I discovered a glitch in the matrix.

My point? this constant complaint is now a piece of realism to me lmao

From what i remember unless doomsday juggernauts, regular enemies are also down with one headshot or rifle burst to the head.

i only played doomsday a handful of times because i got tired of having to shoot 15-20 bullets to kill a single enemy, more than once i headshotted the guy only for him to spring back up and one shot kill me, it was full on bs!

Ok, played act3 finale several times and regular enemies were down with headshot unless you miss to hit them in the head and shoot other body part, then they become bullet sponges. But then again, that's the case with all enemy npcs in GTAO. Maybe you had lagg or team mates you played with missed head shot and that buffed them. I play on PC so maybe that's the console issue if you're console player.

Features that would be nice to see:

1. Manual Transmission On/Off Option on Interaction Menu

2. Speedometer On/Off Option on Interaction Menu

3. Traction On/Off Option on Interaction Menu

4. Drivetrain Swaps

5. Skateboarding

6. More fighting animations

7. Katana

1. Maybe for open wheel races but i dont really see them adding this 'globally', reason is that a lot of cars have weird transmission (to say the least) and im 99% sure if we get manual transmission it will just mean that we get 10+ new speed glitches for 90% of the cars.

2. Yes please, this should've been in the game on launch, also fix the camera angles and/or steering wheels in cars where we currently cant see the (full) speedometer in first person

3. While i understand why you want this, i dont think enough people want this to justify it being added (as opposed to for example your manual transmission request, wich im sure 10x more people want then traction control, long story short offroading and drifting dont get nearly as much attention as other driving styles)
4. I still think they are going to give Brucie a car mod shop where we essentially get to choose drivetrain and handling flags, hopefully this will be one of the 'big new additions' of re-re-release
5. F- yes, but considering they are essentially trolling us with this for 4-5 games now, i kinda doubt it, i'd settle for an update to bmx (pegs and maybe some bmx stat that gives better control and adds 'on-bike-animations' as you raise it)

6. Should be very do-able (just look at how they keep adding 'action' & dance animations almost every dlc now, shouldn't be hard to start adding more fighting anims, walking anims, etc) and i hope we get it in re-re-release
7. Yes please! (hopefully we get one more DLC in the casino storyline, that brings the Chengs to SA, adding katana's and martial arts)

Having said all that, honestly all of these (except maybe katana) seem way to 'involved' for them to be part of a DLC for current version, feels like this wishlist should go in one of the re-re-release wishlist threads :D

I honestly love doomsday for its OP enemies, after playing ~7 years of PVE it was nice to finally see some challenge again. ("end-game" enemies that actually take a little effort to down, idk how PVE is on consoles these days, but for PC its essentially 'swipe to kill', just swipe your cursor across npc heads while shooting a smg & everything dies. And thats getting old)

He is right tho, they aren't bullet sponges if you aim for the head. The problem in Doomsday is that they erase you pretty fast if you don't take cover. But still, I loved the challenge and it was a nice change from the usual boring combat.

Not to menrion frequent rapid fire bug on their assault rifles, having minigun rate of fire and 100% precision. Because majority of Avon's goons are carying rifles chances to get killed because of tha bug are increased.

That's just something the AI is programmed to do. The problem is that the parameters for the Doomsday NPCs are completely out of whack. When ordinary enemies like NOOSE do it, it's supposed to make you use cover. But when an Avon clone does it, you're dead.

Please no cops and crooks, we have enough free roam madness.

The concept of "cops and crooks" in Grand Theft Auto, sounds goofy. IMO.

The most famous cops in the franchise are corrupt (Tenpenny and his partner) and the police department in GTAO, can be bribed by Lester for $500 - $5000.

If the DLC is real, should it not be named Crooks and Crooks?

Well, we are probably not going to be "good cops" so it makes sense.

We dressed up as cops to get into the police station for some not very legal things during Prison Break, this could be the same thing.

I think the Cops and Crooks thing would work well with a street racing dlc as well as a chop shop.

Obviously cops would be antagonists in case of such update (chief or LS police or some other high ranking official). Our GTAO characters would obviously be the crooks. Think in the line of casino update for example, set of missions or jobs against corrupted police official/s. In the end of missions ark we unlock station depot to store our vehicles and office as base of operations for jobs similar to those Agatha Baker is giving us. Corrupted chief would be replaced by another (also corrupted of course) who would give us access to police station.

Another way update could be designed is if it's focused on the heist in the police station. Big con approach would be to pose as cops for example, agressive or stealth parachuting from the helicopter at the station helipad, etc. Targets would be same as with previous heists but stored in underground police lockup.

Or maybe CNC update would  just be glorified adversary mods with some added weapons and vehicles.

God, not glorified adv mode dlc. Also i kinda i'm done for heists for now. I really miss new bussinesses. The thing they can add, apart from the concept you said, is making cop missions like the ones in IV, for "those days that you want to be in the right side of the law".

Whatever the next dlc is, Im a little worried about the prices of the content considering the "cayo perico heist" is such a great moneymaker.

I made well over 75 million from it in just a little over 2 months with quite a few brakes inbetween. The last time I made so much was with import/export in about 8 months.

I'm not worried for me personaly since I just hit 100 Million GTA$ in my bank today (The first time in nearly 6 years of total playtime), so I'm set regardless of whatever they throw at us. But if they increase prices to balance out the cayo perico income quite a lot of people would be f*cked since they wouldnt have nearly enough cash for the new stuff.

Maybe you don't need to worry. Those kind of grinders that make millions upon millions are the minority of the minority in the game. R* knows that they will not sell shark cards to these players, but the vast majority don't have patience (or O.C.D xD) to grind that much. They would never put something in the game that would end their shark card sells. They know that even if the profit of those heist are good, the majority of players don't heist that often.

I wouldn't be too worried about inflation caused by the Cayo Perico heist.

Sure, everyone on this forum knows how to scope the island, prep and run the heist efficiently, but a lot of people I meet in-game don't.

If you go on-call and meet some of the more average players in-game, you'll find that most of them can't do preps or scope the island as quickly, or they get caught by the guards all day.

The average player doesn't make those ridiculous amounts of money from the Cayo Perico heist. They probably get more restarts too from breaking stealth during the heist.

The only thing saving those hosts, is that Cayo Perico is more forgiving to minimum prepping, as long as you maintain stealth.

Casino heist is even worse. Apart from getting kicked, most failures I see there are the direct result of skipping out on an important optional prep, sometimes making the heist unwinnable.

Dont say anything...yesterday i was invited by a random players to do cayo perico and i went, bcz i had nothing to do, guess what...ZERO secondary objects scooped and the main objective was the tequilla, so basically if we was alone probably would not made more than 700k, bcz what he would lost during the exit and after that fee that is taken away from you.

It was me that was searching secondary objectives inside the mansion and coordinating the heist basically.
