You mean in terms of total updates we may get within this year? Because, the way I see it, the trend of two updates a year started back in 2019, so I'm not sure if anything would change in terms of that. But in terms of the content packed within those updates, we should definitely expect more than what we received last year.

I'm not talking about dlc info, just information about the next gen version and if will change something on pc version.

In this newswire, they said "more new updates including additional GTA Online content exclusive to the new consoles and PC"

The changes are coming to PC for sure, we just don't know if it will be a free or paid upgrade yet.

Okay, so, let's just lay the ground rules now; should there be nothing major announced next event week (which given R* announced a sort of 4 week celebration, you think an announcement would come at the end of celebration, unless they want to end it with the release of a spring update around March 18th-ish and so Feb 25th serves as massive Spring announcement & Summer Content coming later post for this year, which I guess could also work), can we not flood the thread with overt infuriation at this seemingly random account that was created for what seems to be just to make this post?

It specificly mentions "content" as in updates, as in cars, clothes and so on that will be exclusive to the new consoles and PC.

before that we used to get 800 rp whenever we joined a session now we get the annoying "R* has given you some clothes" notification which is more annoying because you dont know if they really did

@CarimboHanky oh good to know, I hope it will be fixed but I'm not holding my breath. I didn't knew about the 800rp bug too, but now I understand why I'm leveling up so easily now, because I always look for some solo lobby I can use with my friends to do sell mission etc, and I usually have to do try 5-10 times

Please no cops and crooks, we have enough free roam madness. Having the ability to harass people as cops and potentially interfere in their businesses is the last thing we need. God forbid they just add a bunch of police vehicles, clothing and weapons and call it a day. It also seems like the perfect excuse not to add many regular vehicles (once again).

If they ever actually release cops and crooks I hope it doesn't turn out that way, I am sure a police related update could work way different than centering around destroying people's business, god forbid they make CnC function like that.

it'd be rather fun in being able to jump on NPC gangs/groups/whatever that has rigged aim and health instead of actually ruining others' experience because of some roleplay bullsh*t

I always thought about C&C as simply set of missions where you act as crooked cop. Your contact would be someone from LSPD, you'll get chance to wear uniform (that's all I want really, my girl looks tight in it), possibly call cop car via interact menu. You would get rid of unwanted evidence, intimidate witnesses, kill straight cop, maybe fight a riot. Yeah, 2020 was kinda bad year for police satire, but 2021 could just work.

Me and a couple of homies had the same thoughts, but I honestly want to see more clothing than just the LSPD Uniform that has been there since 2015, i'd love to dress up as other type of law enforcement like the Sheriff or Park Rangers.

But to be honest, the police in Los Santos could start getting more "up-to-date" especially with their weaponry and vehicles, i'd love to see police variants of already existing vehicles or atleast the option to give police lights, liveries, etc to our vehicles.

and since last two weeks i've been having this one confident feeling that maybe this year is the year for CnC.

I just bought the dynasty for My second character and Made the taxi build...oh boy this little car is so much fun, if only Rockstar add the taxi cab missions in the Game it Will be a Nice addition to the next dlc, whatever the theme...just let us Buy the cab building property, decent amount of taxi cabs (dynasty included), maybe 5-6 missions attached and then You get a passive income plus the fares You do in freemode
