Lol, the GTAO article got yeeted. The timing was weird to be honest, it's been in preparation for over 6 hours, so definitely something prepared for Thursday or Friday.

The cut Tempesta was surely meant to be an arena vehicle, as Lambos are a favorite of artists who design post-apocalyptic vehicles:

Thats not cognoscenti. Maybe Enus Diamond. Cognoscenti=Maybach models especially 55 and lwb rockstar still puts them into enus brand.

its more a hybrid of rolls royce /maybach/bentley.

Cognoscenti is all over the place. We have a Bentley Continental GTC branded as one, alongside a pair of Maybachs.

 

As evident time and time again, R* have no respect for logic and continuity, so might as well throw a Rolls-Royce into the mix.

We already have enough Russian military hardware, we need more US jets and helis first then more odds and ends from smaller countries like the Starling and Rogue. I want an old Japanese bomber, P-38 Lightning, F-14, F-22, F-35 with no other influences from other planes let alone planes from other countries. Then something silly and speculative would be cool, like a TR-3B or a smaller version of the Zancudo UFO.

Last year did Rockstar released some newswire post about their future updates and projets about gta online rdr2 online??

I would like them to add the hydra savage to the helipads and also add the rhino tank to where the barrack spawns

I wonder what they plan to do with the go karts & racing. Would make no sense to leave them completely out of the race creator unless they had plans for them.

A creators update with go carts, adversary modes, Cayo Perico and cross-class racing? I also cant figure out the go carts and all the money one can make now..

A updated creator with kars races is a given.

 

Cross-class racing has been a demand of the community for a long time but I don't think it's ever happening due to how the balancing of the car classes is all over the place.

So is it me or has R* not had weekly discounts for vehicle upgrades/customization at LSC for ages? I remember we used to have 30-50% off EMS, Turbo, Spoilers etc 

 

Do we know of any reason as to why? Or will those discounts be a "Back in my day in GTAO ..." thing 😄

 

However, we do have discounts on new DLC items within 1 month of release - if I recall it used to take them 6 weeks at the earliest

Ya know, I believe we are going to see more map expansions in the sense of Cayo Perico, but being actual new maps to explore and inhabit. I think Cayo Perico was basically a way of testing what they could do with expanding the game - only issue I see is the fact that essentially speaking, Los Santos and Cayo Perico are on the same "map", so they'd have to create a new one entirely to fit other cities (I believe) or whatever else.

 

As to what we could see for expansions, beats me! Truthfully, I'd love to see Liberty City (yes I know this has been milked to death but I've been having so much fun in GTA IV these few days and honestly I would not mind LC in GTAO at all!), or of course the more luxurious and Cayo Perico-esque Vice City. Or y'know, something like San Andreas - Las Venturas and San Fierro for starters? The heists we could do in Las Venturas? A f*cking chain of casino heists or something, there's so many possibilities.

 

There's already a menu at LSIA and everything, even a plane cutscene they could reuse, if they're too lazy to make an actual commercial jet take us there and not a private one.

 

Another point as to why - Los Santos is already old and kind of boring, I don't think they'll be able to rack in more and more new players with just the same old map (not for much longer after new gen, it'll go for a while, but after that ???).

 

Now naturally, I wouldn't expect a new map expansion at the very least until deep into 2022 with new gen consoles. Albeit a cool thing to see in expanded and enhanced would be a map expansion. Hella doubt it tho.

technically the game already supports different "maps".

the game has a level system.

with the game map running on lvl 11.

all the other levels are used for their dev test maps.

they have their own files.

very similiar to the level system in Max Payne 3 (probs what they use in V too)

so if they would want, they could add a entire new "level" that has it´s own map.

but we don´t know bc i think in the final puplic build the code to switch levels is stripped out and all those test level files too.

but it is a possibility.

Yeah, we haven't had those discounts since the Dirft Yosemite week last year (Feb 6th).

 

While we're on that subjet, the last time we plane upgrades on sale was the July 10th week back in 2018.

I'd like to see a new Heist take place on a Cruise Ship. They've never been featured in a GTA Game before. A good story would be similar to Speed 2. The Heist would involve robbing the vault of things like diamonds, jewellery and paintings while the ship is out at sea.

 

Heist Prep would involve scoping the layout while it remains docked at Terminal Island, perhaps while posing as the ship's crew. Then, planning how you will carry out the heist such as how you will access the vault via keycode or drilling. Other helpful things such as disabling the ship's power to prevent the crew being able to alert the authorities if caught. Also, the entry routes such as boarding the ship as a guest or sneaking aboard via boat, submarine, helicopter or parachuting in. Escape routes could include stealing a Lifeboat or simply using the same approach vehicle. Pavel could also return if the Submarine is chosen.

 

The Cruise Ship would also later appear in free roam too either by purchasing a ticket again like you can do in prep or using your own vehicle to get to the ship as it sits in the corner of Los Santos. There would be plenty of social activities on board similar to what you can find in San Andreas like a gambling at a Casino, dancing at the nightclub, drinking at the bar, viewing a Comedy Club, and a new Luxury Suite to spawn instantly on the ship.

 

New Weapons could include a Skeet Gun, similar to an un-sawn off Shotgun. Skeet Shooting would be a social activity onboard.

New Vehicles could include an amphibious Helicopter like the Leviathan. It would appear in the Heist as an approach vehicle or used by the responding Coast Guard if caught.

How does the game differentiate between the Story and Onine versions of level 11, seeing as it's the only public one, in reference to stuff like the Casino and Arcades? Stuff like Bunkers and the IAA Facility, they're all props so it's understandable Online would have code to spawn them where they're supposed to be. Is there some kind of system in place where loading into GTA Online tells level-11 that specific chunks are to now instead load in newer, alternative chunks in which those geometry changes take place?

 

It'd be interesting to see how they would implement Level Switching and letting us take our Online character, (weapons, stats, inventory, vehicles and income) to that location. Even more interesting would be if they ever created "Scenario" levels like a Future Shock or Apocalyptic Los Santos, just in case they ever wanna jump the shark higher than aliens in Doomsday 2 and instead have our characters hijack the whole of time and space... and still choose to reside in bloody Los Santos.

Would you like to work for El Rubio? I think this guy has more potential than to be ridiculed for being robbed over and over again.

 

In my imagination it could work like this, Rockstar adds new luxury mansions, if you buy one Rubio's henchmen finally find you, but instead of killing you, you work your debt back, this might be one huge heist where you steal some very precious art (maybe from a museum) or a serious of missions where you steal art back from the Madrazos, involving stealing trucks, trains, ships, planes, raid some warehouses. The contact might be Rubio's assistent (preferably an attractive woman) that joins you in your mension and maybe Pavel joining the team (or Pavel held hostage until you finish Rubio's missions).

simple.

the levels are more dev stuff in V.

the thing they now use is the map group.

there are 2 map groups in the game

"GROUP_MAP" and "GROUP_MAP_SP"

Singleplayer uses GROUP_MAP_SP which was never updated so doesn´t load all the online stuff.

while GTAO uses GROUP_MAP, which has all that stuff added.

they started with adding new stuff to the online map with the original heist update.

all those files have a "hei_" prefix and the same with lowriders which has a "lr_" prefix.

those files are never even getting loaded in Singleplayer, which makes it easy.

fun fact: the casino exterior still used that system from the original heist.

they just put it into the update.rpf into the mpheist files.

 

this is also why we can easily switch to the online map in singleplayer with mods.

bc it´s just switching the map group, which then allows the stuff to be loaded.

You know cut down a few trees and bushes, place down cozy huts for the party people, tear down the northern docks and turn them into a small freight dock/ferry terminal, tear down the main dock and turn into a marina, clear out the hangar so I can store a few aircraft in there, replace the fields with a golfcourse, pave the roads going from the mansion and the docks to the airport and hire competent security for the f*cking watertower.

Ahh a man can dream.

 

Edit: I forgot, build a go kart track on the big empty place between the beach party (with cozy hut village) and the airport.

Sure it looks good, but from a practical point of view, an exotic super car would make a STUPID choice for a post-apocalyptic ride.

 

They have highly specialized maintenance requirements and diagnostic equipment that can cost 10s of thousands of dollars, very specific engine fluids, in some cases simply changing an oil filter requires the entire engine to be dropped from the chassis. Not to mention the rarity or replacement parts....and this is before any bombs drop. 

 

You want a post-apocalyptic vehicle? Stick with a brand from your region and preferably something from before the prevalence of computers.

IMO this menu is a big indicator, that you will travel to different locations in future .

I mean, why to create a menu, if you havent more options planned?
