I have never bought the support stuff. First two times I used the velum, no issues. Third time I used it, they found a weapon on me and I was in the middle of a fight for my life. I think its a random occurrence or.. could have been I did the volume approach back to back, and the second time I got busted with a gun

At night, or during the rainy day in the finale, near the cage hanging in the jungle, I hear the panther but never see it. During a sunny day, I never hear it. Last thing I need is a panther to attack me, lol.

BUT. 
I'll never played something so random in GTA ever. Me, my brother and my friend did every single preparation, and I still don't know why. Almost everything You need to rob in this Island apart from Madrazo file, must be rob in use of tools You find on the Island. And of course it makes some logical sense, but I feel like I didn't do a good job prepare myself for this heist. Besides that it doesn't have good script. Seriously. We don't even get to know El Rubio. He throw some dude to pather cage and thats it. Other then that? He's pretty normal. Mini Madrazo is annoying AF. The submarine is useless and it's also annoying. First swim to it, get in, then get out of it, then swim to it again and so on and so on. The only good thing is that you can do this heist solo, which makes the payout quite good and it's easy to do again, thanks to the low difficulty level.
I much prefer Casino Heist, because when I do it, I feel more prepared. It is also better written.
 

The way I do the solo is: 

Always use stealth! Take silencers and either assault mk2 or the new rifle pack

 

Scope out only the main take.

 

Complete the following preps:

- longfin, halo, or volume

- weapons (above)

- power drill thing (construction site)

- fingerprint clone

- special equipment i.e. for cutting glass or whatever

 

Finale:

-Don't get caught, kill who you need with headshots.

- get cocaine in duffle, fill duffle.

- get main target

- leave and head south and get in water, have exit point as main dock

 

** el rubio will head over lnad to airport in helicopter, so he is not an issue.

Has anyone had the glitch where you are suppose to scope the primary target and nothing loads in. You can explore the island as every door is open and not one gaurd... or any loot. Fun times. 

 

Update: i tried to get into compound and was caught as everything then loaded in. Sent straight back to LS

Sorry if this has been asked or if this isn't in the right spot but do we know when/if R* is going to give us a gift vehicle for Christmas like they normally do? Like is there anything in the files or could they upload a small file with just a car & some clothes for a DLC? Or do we think we won't get anything since the heist just came out so close to Christmas?

i don't know anything, but if i had to guess, the second go-kart would be the christmas vehicle

Not necessarily... the 2nd, and arguably better kart will be usable in the same races as the 1st, and being the better option, anyone who wants to be competitive would need to buy one. It would not be smart to give the entire community both of them for free.

 

My Hope is the Fiat or Beetle with an exclusive xmas livery, similar to how they gave away the Clique, will be the gift car...

I'm really enjoying the update. I do agree the writing is a bit thin. As is the car list. 

 

The sub/sparrow fast travel combo makes the set ups lightning fast. 

 

I'm now jumping the main gate on the scout manchez for the scope and bossing the island in general.

 

Lots of variety like the casino approach wise. 

 

Enjoying the new music also.

 

Can understand why some folk are pissed off though

Huh, I see. Well, I'd highly recommend buying the stash support. It's only 10K and it's located inside the hangar with Forklift in.

 

And yeah, overall some good approaches later on in you r post, although I'd say mainly focus your infiltration point as close as possible to the nearest Guard Outfit box. Guard Outfits are soooo good. Especially if you get a truck located as well. Just drive straight in and with good loot spawns cash in on a juicy Elite Challenge as well.

 

And yeah, it feels we know too little about El Rubio. He seems really affable and fun (even though it's most likely a facade) but it'd be nice to get some more knowledge of the guy.

Still Slipping radio fixing antennae's are time limited bcz the radio is going to be open across whole los santos and blaine county on coming weeks, when you fix the antennae's then Joy Orbison texts you :

After playing the update for a bit I must say I don't like it at all. It's not the worst but the Heist itself is disappointing. On the bright side tho the sub is a piece of art. Been hunting broomsticks with my friend in it yesterday and it was very enjoyable.

why the heist was bad mane? No need to scoop out alot , you can loot everything on the island even if it's not scooped out but it won't appear on radar (more fun i guess) find some clothes and a weed truck and grappling hook , here you go big con , you'll have fun , atleast the preps are not boring like casino heist's one.
