We can use weapons on the go-karts making a proper kart racer mode in GTA Online possible.

 

This update is completely stupid in the right areas and I love it, the new dancing styles and player actions, Rockstar playing into our character being a silent weirdo with how they make a spectacle of themselves when entering the compaund via grappling hook or gate code as well as how they try to exit the main gate. I love it.

 

The most interesting takeaway is after we beat the Heist, when we get offered to go to JUST the beach party at Cayo Perico, not the Gather Intel where we can only escape by stealthing to the airport, the game treats it like an interior that we can invite people to, but at the same time, the menu at LSIA that only offers us a single location that essentially need not exist, reeks of foundation for future updates.

I reckon not dripfeed, but rather (assuming we get one this year, or if they combine it with an already mostly developed summer update the comes a little eariler than normal, due to both the mostly completed factor combined with GTA Next-Gen later in the year) the spring filler update.

I believe the trick is to get a good guard outfit spawn and infiltrate as close as possible to it, get truck, drive inside and if you're super lucky you scoped 2 paintings in office which clears lootbag objective and after that you easily make escape since despite what PAvel says the outfit still works pretty well as long as you don't go crazy.

i have a feeling that the next dlc will be el rubios revenge or something like that. El Rubio will find out we were the ones that robbed him blind and then he’ll contact us to help him with whatever he needs. Something along the lines of “I need someone with your expertise” yadayadayada, and lil madrazo will probably get killed or something. That’s my guess
 

 

that top left picture, what do y’all think that could be?? Something to expect in the future? cinco de Mayo/day of the dead maybe? Maybe different types of parties will be thrown on the island or it’s another location entirely.

Yeah, in fact I think that makes it more likely that there will be special races rather than if they were just standard Sports class vehicles.

Jobs aren't dependent on the DLC outside maybe a special icon. I forgot where these are stored else I would have checked already.

OK, I found the file with the minimap blips again:

The icon I marked looks like it might be used for go-kart races.

El Rubio is wearing some Red Dead Online clothes (the hat and wolf jacket... not sure about the pant). That's not relevant at all but I Iike to think these pictures are from the upcomming enhanced gtaV version.

I noticed that too. I’d like to think the same as well, hopefully animals finally being added to online and new animals from rdr2

My prediction is that the next GTA Online update will release next summer, in a similar pattern to what we've seen this year, and it's going to be the last GTA Online update for last-gen consoles. The main feature is going to be the new Kart races (because come on, they are gonna add those at some point), together with the creator and maybe new modes, races, vehicles etc. similar to this year's summer special.

 

Chances are Rockstar was not able to develop the new races in time with the release of the Cayo Perico Heist with everything else they had to work on, so they're releasing them next year. I don't think the last-gen consoles are going to be able to handle many more updates since Cayo Perico already runs at quite a low framerate on base PS4, probably even worse on Xbox One. A small summer update would be a perfect sendoff and a good way to market the new versions of the game coming out, if everything goes according to plans, not much time after.

The icon with the wheels is the one to pilot the Submarine. 
And sad thing.. the icon of the second Kart looks more like a karting than the kart himself with all the back cover

I guess we could. The Issi Classic Races were released this way, so they can use the same methodology. Then again, if they want to make something a bit more complex than "stunt races but with go-karts", they would have to release a whole new update for it; but I don't know if they would.
