Why it might not be:

- aircraft carrier is probably even smaller and they still won't place it freeroam (unless they planning to do that with the enhanced version)
- if its really small and is used only for heists, R* might decide theres no point of placing it in freeroam. They will use if for adversary modes only, like every other heist interior before

Either way, I think its best to just wait for the trailer at this point. We need to see more.
 

I'm still hoping for Custom Yacht mk2 with new set of missions around the island

I guess we will have options to do a small upgrade to our yacht but it won't be a big change as there is somewhere haven't been used in our yacht such as basement(engine room) and the small area next to the pilot room....

I will appreciate to have free access to all our car like SA but I think we may have a system to call a car with cargobob like this:

 

But probably the yacht may provide some garage and new upgraded yacht vehicle...

A new mini heli or jetpack.....rc boat, rc drone, Armed-swift for scouting and stealthy mission probably.

A garage which fit a Stormberg MK 2

The boats probably get and some wheels like this thing:(maybe some mounted Machine gun as well)

 

Sea-shark will turn into a oppresshark  with no doubt

 

I think the npc may use some old school off-road or muscle like just cause/mercenaries 2 in that island?

In the teaser it says John Doe's (dead body) last visual contact was at Los Santos international airport.. possibly he came from the new island.

Im guessing the airport is how we get there which also makes me think this new island will be behind a loading screen and not just a regular land mass placed in freeroam.

I hope I'm wrong but I'm getting Guarma vibes from the sneak peak.

 

A moderately sized area sprinkled with nothing more than mission locations. It's hard to see right now what this island could offer in freeroam as of yet.

The island will probably be a big dissapointment, it will be small, not accessible in free roam, just for the heist. Im not very hyped, it will probably suck, well also im not hyped because im not a heist person.

 

They should have just added Liberty City, the new consoles can handle it. If they wanna keep players that buy shark cards on a regular basis it needs something big, not just a small crappy island.

Look at the bigger picture. December has usually been a testing period for the year to come when it comes to GTA Online.

 

December 2015 - Introduced Securoserv, bringing in VIP Bodyguarding & VIP Work.

Summer 2016 - expanded this into the full blown CEO upgrade via the Office and also Motorcycle Clubs later on in the year.

 

December 2018 - Introduced the Arena War Wheel at $5000 a spin, the most lucrative item being 125AP (250AP when doubled)

Summer 2019 - introduced the Casino

 

December 2019 - Introduced a Heist that offered even more choice and player freedom than the ones in Story Mode

December 2020 - We're getting a Heist after just a year that's touted as being even better than the last one which already knocked it out of the park.

 

December 2020 - We're getting what appears to be a small island map expansion releasing alongside a new and supposedly even better Heist than the Casino Heist.

October - December 2021 - The Next-Gen version of the game, specifically designed to run on the newer consoles and has already been marketed as "Expanded and Enhanced" is being released... and if just so happens the next big update were to ship with it Day One, the smart thing would could said update possibly have as the main pull to get people to buy the Next-Gen version?

Makes me wonder about other things I didn't think we would ever see.  

 

Like, what if the free vehicle we get next month is a clean, narrow body Comet?

..The whole Latin theme surrounding the DLC - El Rubio name, Spanish architecture, tropical island and etc..
