GTA updates usually release at the time of tunables update (4:30-5:30ET)

Yeah, like @Thomas The Dank Engine said, it drops in about 24-25 hours from now. Depends on what platform you play on, it may be a few minutes earlier or later.

 

Side note: I do admit i posted my "24 hours left" a bit too early, but come on, everyone is hyped the morning before the update even drops.

Oh i am as thrilled as you, but when you patiently wait for something big like this, hours and days seem to last twice as long. I work night shifts, so i can enjoy the update all day long.

Honestly when it comes to vehicles, I wouldn't mind if for once they focused mainly on aircrafts, boats, submarines and other vehicles with unique features instead of regular cars.
Its a new island after all, they should focus on adding appropriate vehicles.  + They need to add something fun to make freeroam enjoyable again. 

But from what they showed so far it looks more like After Hours part 2 than Island Heist (I bet in the files the updated gonna be called something like "MusicLocker" or "AHpart2").

So my wild prediction for today gonna be - since its AH part 2, they adding a weaponized blimps. Or "shark oppressors".

New island will be placed at NE/SE corner of the map.

So guys, I thought a last time about the Heist, the whole Island, and all the other stuff around and came to the point, how long will take the Heist ?

 

 

Ok, we are starting the Heist. I think we get on the Island by Plane, Helicopter or Boat. I´ll take the Plane. We are landing on the Airstrip. Now we have to get to the Mansion of "El Rubio". Idk if we can drive to it with a car or even walk to it. So I think that will at least take about 10 minutes. We are at the Mansion. I took the silent methode so I try to stay under the radar of the security. We did it, we are in the Mansion and took out all the Security mfs. That will take at least 5-10 minutes. We are standing infront of the Gold Monke with Diamonds in it. We get all the stuff, did the thing with Madrazos Files and now we have to get the f*ck out of there. We are out of the Mansion but the security saw us so we have to fight. 10-15 minuts for dis. Now we have to get to the Airstrip again to get off the Island. We definitely have to fight while we r drivin or walking back. Again 10-15 minutes. We got to the Airstrip and get the hell out of this sh*t. We did the Heist. At least one hour or even more for the whole Heist. I think that´s even realistic. Of course when you do the Heist alone. What´s your opinion?

It will be around 11am Edinburgh / London time. Though different systems will update at slightly different times. This update is big, maybe around 15% the size of the whole original GTA5, so for some folk it might take a while to download the whole thing, install it etc. 
 

Basically it all depends on when Rockstar decide to get out of bed, fire up their PC, make some breakfast, clean up the beer cans and pizza boxes from the night before, find the hard drive with the update on it under the sofa.... then if they remember they’ll get around to  sending it out before lunch.

Don't worry mate its going to take way more than one hour.

 

Don't forget the mandatory setup missions, the optional setup missions, and the fact that we will be able to approach the heist in multiple ways. Multiple ways means multiple set of different setup missions and s different heist experience.

 

Rockstar wouldn't want for us to make a couple of million in 1 hour its not beneficial for them and their Shark card business.

 

Plus it's marketed as the biggest adventure so far, the next generation of heist gameplay.

I feel this is the most speculated DLC we've ever done. I think this is because of the fact that the DLC was hinted for months prior leading up to the premature teasing of the props and such.
