I will be super disappointed if you have to join a special session to get to this new island, or worse, for it to be limited to a game mode like a heist.  

 

I want to finally be able to use my aircraft for something like travelling to another island.  My hangar, and everything inside, is probably my least used purchases in the game...

That'd be awesome to have him as an actual character as he's the only "Online Protagonist" whose appeared in multiple DLC Main Artworks, (Executives & Other Criminals, Finance & Felony, Import/Export)

The closest Rockstar have come to repeating that is using the same 4 characters for the Heist Update trailers.

In other unrelated news, Rockstar pushed a background update, a few hours ago, following the tease we got and it appears the Stirling GT has been added to the podium list.

With that in mind, we now have about 3 new cars and one old car in the list, excluding the latter since it never mattered in previous records, we have about 3 weeks worth of events which leads us all the way to either December 15th (Tuesday) or 17th (Thursday) as possible release dates.

 

I can't see them going any further than that, to release it up close to Christmas Day/Eve, so I would say it's a safe bet for now.

That and I'm hearing it's a possible release window.

I think it will be sooner Tez  Just like the casino heist when it was teased the announcement was the next day... the week after was the trailer and the week after was the announcement.... looking at December 3.

Even though it's obviously some form of Cartel Kingpin likely based on Pablo Escobar, I'll be really disappointed if Rockstar don't tap into their old ways and  throw some Epstein jokes in there with this idea of a billionaire on a private island in the pacific.

tbh even the aircraft carrier could got me going for months let alone a tiny island. No island is tiny for me that has a landing strip!

the more I think about it the more it makes sense that we, the player, will own the island after the heist, I mean if 32 people can own the same hangar, bunker, or facility, then why not an island?  then we could have it to ourselves and not need passive, and we can invite other players to it, (omg Animal Crossing GTaO Edition!) imagine if we can customize the island, not just the mansion decor but the landscaping as well, then show off our islands to other players, that also solves how to add mansions.  maybe we can even demolish and develop on the island, choose from several mansions, pick the decor and landscaping, it's not that far fetched imo

 btw, i believe it's bigger than it looks! If i'm right this should be almost as big as the real map and it should hold or even gain some support money for GTA VI eventhough they are already on it. But my expectations are huge for this one!
