Sure...i wouldn't doubt that...at least to a certain degree...bcz having English Dave there...i mean...first, you need to have your own nightclub to have ED phone number...and to me, all this about we going to the Music Locker with ED, means maybe, that he was invited and he invited us, a fellow nightclub owner to meet the owner of the new nightclub to even discuss bussinesses...so i'm counting with cutscenes to tell us that story...unless the player who don't have ED phone number will get it now from other way but then, that would f*cked up the consistency of the game when you meet him in the AH dlc, so yeah, i'm thinking this will have a huge paywall.

But i was talking more about how the mechanics would work about the free roamability of the island.

SLR McLaren would be an absolute dream, one of my favorite cars ever. But Cien oder Chrysler ME 4-12 would be awesome as well (but never happening).

I know for a fact I’m not the only person who doesn’t want 30 player lobbies on Cayo perico, I just want (as the heist leader) the ability to invite a few peeps with me there
 

 

 

also I gotta feelin rockstar has a good hand full of songs put into a mix for us to do the heist to, as the art of for “the chocolate conquistadors” says music from  GTAO  The Cayo Perico heist

Seeing how R* wants every single car manufacturer to have at least one supercar, even the ones that make no sense (looking at you, Principe and Cheval), not adding a proper Albany and Schyster supercar would be a mistake from them.

I’m betting the island will be instanced and we won’t be able to call aircraft outside of the heist. It will be like the casino, a “social space” for you to dance and AFK in. That’s assuming we can even visit it outside the heist and I’m not even close to sold on that being the case. Hopefully on next gen we’ll get a real civilian island based on Catalina with a small city and roads with the ability to create races and other game modes. An actual FR map expansion. That’s not to say I’m not excited about CP, I very much am, I just have very low expectations about what we can do there if we can go there.

 

As always what will make or break this update for me is the amount of cars, or lack there of. As long as we get another 10 to 15 cars aside from what we’ve seen and there are some major wishlist picks in there I’ll be a happy guy. Who knows, it could go either way IMO, they could have shot their wad with summer special and be saving the real meat for Enhanced Version..

We didn't even talk about if the island will be only sustain half of the players that we see in the current map, due the size of CP. And i don't think we will be able to use or vehicles or at least meme vehicles, bcz...how the hell would you get them from the main island? Parachuting them via plane? Lmao...i think we may get a 10 car garage in CP for normal vehicles, and i bet people will only use off-roads there, bcz i don't see how in a tropical island full of dirt roads will do good in what concerns urban cars not get all bouncy in the roads.

I doubt we'll get any kind of property let alone storage on El Rubio's private island. Best case scenario our sub can accommodate one or two vehicles pertinent to the heist. The more I look over the announcement and subsequent articles the more they come off as intentionally vague and cagey. I think many of us would respect them a lot more if they just came out and said, the island is heist only or you can visit for a limited time and engage in these activities. Guess we'll find out by mid day Tuesday after the first players complete the heist.

That would be sabotage for themselves, ofc they want to hide the fact of the island if it comes to not be in free roam, bcz that would make a lot of players not even want to login.

Coming back to this for a short while: $4 million solo, no. $1.1 million, very possibly and here's why:

 

The Madrazo Files alone are worth $1.100.000. There is no way in hell a single person can't grab at the very least some files and dossiers, I seriously believe it's gonna be a $1.1million minimum payout regardless of player count.

 

Unless - the Madrazo Files are also scattered across the mansion/island and it's a bit trickier to get to them than we think. But nah, I believe we'll have enough time alone to grab the Files, and at least a couple dozen gold bars to go - if the Heist has a time limit. Also, since possibly no vault timer (at least for gold?), I predict we have a shootout awaiting us at each target. Fingers crossed for NO infinite spawning enemies, though.

And no one seems to be mentioning the fact that, if the sub will be an essential thing to use, imagine how hard will be to take all the controls of the sub to deal with all the offensive of the npc's that will go after you somehow.

Well, bugger me. That's a great point. I got a couple theories on that, but to be fair if I start with them, I'll just go on and on, hah. This is a really secretive and mind-boggling update, I love it! Can't wait for the 15th when this place goes absolutely bonkers.

That is a very smart move! I'll probably check out the forums while waiting for the update to release and subsequently download. After that, I'm gone from reality for a minimum of 48 hours. Very excited.

 

Although, 50 pages in 4 hours? I think you're underestimating this thread...

If the island is freeroam (which is what it looks like to be,) I expect a few things will be different:

 

* 16 Player separate lobbies

(I do not think the island can reasonably handle the chaos of 30 player on an area smaller than half of Los Santos.)

* No weaponized vehicles 

* You are only allowed to bring one or two personal vehicles with you

* No weapons at the dance area

* If you fire a weapon, El Rubio's cartel will be after you (It's his private resort island after all)

 

Expecting many measures like these to keep things from going up in flames on Day 1..

It might be crazy, but what if they didn't show this plane/jet because it might have a really strange new feature that they didn't want to show because of the controversy?

I believe it could be something really interesting if this plane had just such a magnet as they showed in the trailer of Fast and Furious almost a year ago and the ability to catch cars and hide them inside

I know both planes are totally different but it's a rockstar, they always liked to add what was seen before

It would somehow encourage players to buy this plane
