Fun fact: that was only correct until a little over a year ago. Look up: AdBlock - block ad for all browsers,ad blocker plus.

 

It's not perfect and definitely does not sound official based on the grammar, but it apparently works by making a custom VPN (that's what it says at least) and it does the job where it really matters (you do have to open the app and click on the button at the bottom making sure it turns green, you get a notification when it's on), the app itself does have ads but they aren't disruptive and only show when you're in the process of activating it.

Sadly, nobody knows yet. But if I had to take a guess, I would probably say yes. 

 

The reasons being:

1. The Beach Party - This could be part of a intro scene/set-up mission so I might rule this one out. But either way, R* have shown a looot of footage of the beaches/partying in the trailers.

      2. The Submarine HQ - We would have to get in and out of it to do the set-ups.

 

TBH though, it would be a bit of a bummer if it wasn't in free roam. It would slightly ruin the DLC for me.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I am sort of reverse-hyping myself into thinking this "biggest GTAO update EVER!" is going to be disappointing. Not because I want to hate on the game lol, just the opposite. But at least if I temper my expectations, and I am wrong and this really does end up being an awesome update, then so much the better. The game is pretty awesome as it is already, particularly considering that the 2013'ness of the game is really showing through at times. But I have a feeling that the really big changes in this game, if they are coming, will be in the PS5/Series-X versions, not on the PS4/XBone versions. By the way, has it been confirmed yet whether the new little lsland will be available for free roam, or just the heist? Sorry this thread goes by so fast!

I'm with you. I'd love to see a proper modern Stirling GT hardtop based on the Black Series. Forget the Surano because that hideous thing would still be ugly as a coupe. Not even the lore community can fix that thing. The VanillaWorks Surano GT has no mirrors and the F-Type influence still looks wrong. And then Aziz did one and it's just... wrong.

 

But sadly, Rockstar is becoming like Forza. Where they only focus on either present-day cars or cars pre-2000. It's annoying because a lot of cool cars made between 2000-2015 are being neglected.

That's an AMG GT. An entirely different car. It can be made into an AMG GTR which has similar upgrades to the SLS Black Series but that's where the similarities end.

Eh I'm well on board with AMG but the GT and SLS are close enough for this game, especially as the GT is better.

 

We have an SL65 Black, I think we're doing well.

I must say they're not even remotely close. The SLS is a lot longer in person and has more presence, it has the gullwing doors and it's a bit wider. It also has a 6.2L N/A V8 vs the AMG GT 4.0 BiTurbo so entirely different sound and entirely different power delivery. The SLS is certainly more coveted and holds its value much better whereas the AMG GT is more mass produced, cheaper and depreciates harder.

 

Also the Feltzer is hardly a SL65 Black Series. It's more so a Feltzer with a DTM bodykit. And it looks way too vulgar for me and sounds nothing like the 6.0 V12 BiTurbo a SL65 would have. Luckily I'm not wanting for that because someone bothered to do a more proper version.

 

 

 

Though it'd be nice to have in Online.

A sign of properly done map expansions in this game's present & future would be the glimmer of ambition that I've been wanting to see from R* since day one of GTA V/Online. If this dlc is done correctly that will tell me everything I need to know to remain fully active on the game!

That's exactly what I said - That is very likely the Squaddie, a cut vehicle from 2013s GTA V:

I am optimistic for a Patriot Classic, don't get me wrong, but as far as we know, a Patriot Classic has not appeared anywhere in the trailers.

We need an SLR McLaren! That would be nice.

 

@Classique Alright, Patriot Classic would make more sense for me but Squaddie is fine aswell. Just hope we can modify it a lot.

I disagree, I think coupe version of Surano would be more than enough. Surano for me is one of those cars that gets heaps of complaints and my only personal complain is the fact there is no hardtop version, that's all. Maybe it's just me not being a fan of SLSes or any of sport Mercedeses for that matter, so in my opinion F-Type elements are really nice. I might be alone but I'd take hardtop Surano over Schlagen and its weird sticker headlights any day.

 

All that being said, Electric Surano might be interesting

Did you folks already thought about the huge possibility for the servers do badly in the 15th? Big size dlc » will take more time to download, plus, the trailer in R* youtube channel have 3.2M views...so i suppose a lot of players will join the game again...so, yeah, i can see the download take a little bit of time and servers being a little f*cked up.

Good point.

 

I'll send an e-mail to rockstar to only give the DLC to me and delay it for everyone else another week.

But there's no plausible reason why would it be different. I don't understand nothing about the matter, but, if they put the new island in a new lobby, or kind of that, since it's the most probable way they will implement it, via a loading screen, maybe while you're seeing your plane trip, i don't now why the island couldn't be in free mode, it's like a new lobby/server with a way smaller map than what we have currently, so i don't know how that would be game breaking.
