Seeing how Lester's initial reaction to heisting the casino back when we met at Mirror Park I wonder how he'd react if we phoned him for this heist

Red dead is on another level of destroyed IMO. I mean I still play it but it’s super boring. At least with GTA there’s at least some stuff to do

It’s buggy as hell, and is basically a AA game that was hyped as being AAA. It’s alright for what it is, but fundamentally just an incremental step above Witcher 3 rather than a massive revolution like everyone was expecting. The main issue is people expecting more than what CDPR is capable of.

Jesus, can some of you stop pretending you've already read the patch notes? hold your opinions till release day when we'll be able to see everything in full. None of us know all the details, nor the full scope yet so stop immediately throwing labels on things.

I’m hoping for a Doomsday Heist-like scenario where all the weaponized cars come day 1 and there are more standards in the drip feed. Plus R* usually don’t show the drip feed cars in their promotions for dlcs so there’s hope

I'm very excited for the DLC. Taking more gold bars at once, partying on a drug island, and the Maserati mashup looks really cool, too! Not much of a car guy myself, but I love to see new muscles and sports classics added.

 

One thing left for me to worry about personally: the Cayo Perico Heist itself. Not the update. Not the cars, guns, characters, island. The heist itself. I'm worried how it's gonna play out, especially solo, but it looks hella fun and most importantly: I didn't see a vault in that trailer! No nerve gas??

 

Side note, LOVING the trailer music. Such a good track, really makes me pumped while watching the trailer.

 

I have not been this excited since The Doomsday Heist.

Unless we kill him in TCPH, sure. Seeing the "Madrazo Files" in the trailer, yeah, I think it's possible we get targeted by both Rubio and Madrazo in one of the upcoming DLCs.

If that's what you are asking. Well, hit titles require a ton of effort and that translates to more time needed and sustainable income to afford the costs.

 

RDR2 was the 'main focus' title between 2013 - 2018, and the development of the next GTA title must have started at some point within that period, but Rockstar wouldn't drop it right after releasing RDR2, so the realistic expectation would have been an announcement this year and possible release next year or early 2022, but you already know what happened this year.

 

It delayed the development process by one year or two and it would've happened regardless of whether GTAO was getting support or not.

Me too. I'm a bit skeptical as to how it's all gonna play out, but I wouldn't be surprised if Madrazo himself ordered our new heist boss to find a crew suitable enough to rob El Rubio.

 

Agree with the Dispatch missions too. They're really fun regardless, so I forgive them for that one.

Rockstar would have announced GTA6 by now if it wasn't for that damn coronavirus /s

They shouldn’t have let V die the way they did. That sh*ts horrible. and their source of income is more than sustainable and their parent company take2 would definitely chuck up the change for a new gta to be made, but that’s not what they WANT to do right now and why would they? As Quinn said, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

I like the fact that the Lamborghini concept thing is a four door. We don't have enough exciting sedans. So many boring modern options. I can't wait to pile in 3 goons in there with me and rip around the map.

I pray that we can get back to discussion and speculation rather than throwing a hissy fit because of some complainers. Otherwise we'll just go down the rabbit hole of complaining about the complainers, complaining about the complainers complaining about the complainers, and complaining about the complainers who are complaining about those who are complaining about the complainers.

 

IDGAF if you gon like this update or not, I can't change the way you feel and anyone who thinks they can (especially through means that will only incite contention and drama) need to go for a walk. I don't know about you but I think this thread is for more than stroking Rockstar's ego. It's supposed to be fun but also a discussion.

Oh my oh my. a B1, an MH60 & a sparrow! I've been longing for a proper Blackhawk without an ESS ever since the game came out & R* finally delivered. Fingers crossed they're adding more hangar space as well ... Otherwise I'm screwed. I'm already maxed out and at least 2 planes have to go.

 

And what appears to an Espad/Marzal mashup! It better be RGTC level of quality to make up for the poor Monroe.

 

 

And R*, I'm gonna need that RoyalOak.

Next GTA title is under development and T2 not investing into it is a hard pill to swallow. The issue seems to be more about the lack of news about the next title.

Either way, the realistic expectation for an announcement would've been this year, due to RDR2 release and nowadays it's likely to be next year or the year after.
