Nice trailer and all but for the biggest dlc ever.....still a big chance of disappointment.
 

It’s 50-50 for me at this point.

 

It all comes down to the integration with the current game and freeroam. And personally I want to know about owning properties on the island, cars, etc.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it looks like the the land on the coastline literally just fades into the water—grass and everything. Nice. 
 

Anyways, I guess there’s still the possibility that we get a little bit more information with the newswire post about music. I’m certain they’ll include screenshots, so there might be a new vehicle somewhere in there.

That is true. It's important to keep a good image. Our online characters don't have a good image as they're referred to as mute psychos willing to do anything for a paycheck. But then again, I'm sure we've all made up our character's story at this point. I feel like I've generally half retired after Casino Heist, just wanting to kick back and take it easy. Gave my Assistant the year off with double pay as thanks for loyal service, put the MC businesses on ice for the time being and generally enjoy some more legal income from the Nightclub and Arcade to get by.

 

That aside, I'm wishing for our yachts to get some use but I highly doubt it.

This. I'm not really that excited at the moment. I have worries mainly about the cars. I hope there's dripfeed and a lot of it. Would hate for the cars to be centered around the island. The last thing I want is an update with "tons" of new music, a new location, a new heist to make lots of money... and then barely any new cars I'd give a damn to spend it on. It's easy to make it their biggest update by adding a new location and more music. But is it gonna be their biggest update for cars? Or at least Diamond Casino level?

 

Bottom line I just want to see the cars. Idc what an update brings unless its like Liberty City or something. The main thing that's gonna make me love it (or hate it) are the cars. I think around this point before release for the Diamond Casino Update we knew what a few cars looked like including the Paragon R. Right now, they only normal car I see is that Lambo/Maserati thing and it already looks meh bc they decided to give it 4 doors. Why they can never keep it simple is beyond me. So I'm definitely just waiting to see what we get before I go "omg this update looks lit so hype!"

As for those freaking out assuming there won’t be many cars, I’m sure there will be plenty of cars and the return of dripfeeding. I’ll bet money on it, not dripping summer special seems like it was done to compensate for it being a smaller filler dlc. 
 

New aircraft, it’s a miracle! I wish they would stop mixing aircraft from different countries though. It’s not the F-14 I’ve been begging for, but the bomber looks pretty awesome. As does the Stealth Hawk, hopefully it has good armor.

 

The island does look pretty small. My expectations of using the creator and making races on the island were crushed with the initial announcement and it’s still a pretty big bummer. If we can visit the island between heisting it looks like it will be a very limited situation. What’s the point of visiting if all you can do is dance and walk around? Wish it was bigger and had buyable properties with some activities (who knows, maybe there will be some stuff to do if we can even visit it between heists).

 

That major gripe aside, I am very hyped from the sub, new mil trucks and aircraft, guns and music being added. Hopefully there are a lot of regular cars and some long requested ones at that. That will make or break the update for me personally.

I know it’s a little early but... where will the new heist take place? I can imagine somewhere in Los Santos but maybe for next gen we’ll get heists in other locations but similar to this update you can’t explore them in free roam? I do think an actual map expansion is probably eventual at this point for next gen.

Honestly I think there’s more evidence pointing towards a free roamable island. I just think that there won’t be much to do on this island other than partying at the club

One way of getting in is clearly by plane, they talked about high-rollers, so we could get with the yacht as a high-roller. Even though it would make our character pretty notorious and that’s not a good thing when trying to rob someone.
