3-4 boats plus the submarine

1-2 "meme vehicles" and regular cars

No boat customization, you just pick a livery from the list.

But the thing is: how they would show super/sport cars and put them in that cayo perico heist that only have dirt roads? You will probably just use suv and jeeps there. And bcz the new island is the main focus of the dlc, those fancy cars didn't matched there, so they simply didn't use them in the trailer.

Sorry to be critical but I don't have rose color glasses anymore when viewing the development of online.

 

7 years guys its been and its the same thing over and over. No wonder they re released it for PS and Xbox it literally prints money.

 

People are just fine with the mentality oh it if not broke don't fix it. 

 

Which is sad that gaming now a days is like this no more taking risks and being trendsetters.

One thing I noticed is that the pilot in the final shot is wearing one of the highly requested "helicopter pilot helmets" that NPCs wear; hopefully he's not an NPC too and they actually added them for purchase

at first this looks like a decent update for gta online, but on a second look, its gta online we are talking about, i dislike it

 

do we know if the new map/island will be available for everyone in freeroam? probably not i guess? ...

spend some millions for sth to start the heist missions? meh

still takes forever to get trough the connection fails etc and to find a decent group of people to finish the heist? meeehh

Yeah, we are so overdue for some heli helmets.

 

Hopefully they don't wimp out and just give us basic version of them, I want NVG capable ones.

I've just read the Italian R* Newswire and it says something along the lines of "the biggest heist of your life", because we can steal money, art and gold. It sounds like the payout will be bigger compared to what we've had until now, if we can rob everything in one time. 

 

About the island I think it will be accessible after a loading screen, maybe we'll have to fly to a certain spot, then loading screen, and then we'll resume flying and we'll get to land at the island airport

Well, what else can they do? I understand the argument of better clothing and less restrictions (most of my outfits required exploits to accomplish, such as CEO vest on any top, which is ridiculous) and perhaps better/more consistent content drops. For a sandbox game, the game is pretty restrictive in areas where it really shouldn't be. 

 

However, Rockstar have been fairly consistent when it comes to community requested content. Players wanted the casino to open, Rockstar made it happen eventually. The community wanted more heists after the first batch came out, and now we are on our fourth heist based update since launch and almost every heist release so far has been of good quality. We've been wanting a new area to explore, and now we are getting an island. There has also been a plethora of different community requested vehicles that Rockstar added to the game over time. The Gauntlet Hellfire, Deluxo, and planes which can be privately owned and stored are just a few examples of long time requests eventually being fulfilled. 

 

Rockstar deserves criticism for certain game aspects they restrict for no stated reason, or fixing harmless bugs that enhance the gameplay experience, like storing vehicles in the back of the Bombushka. In regards to content though, Rockstar has been on their A game for the most part.

I'm sure that El Rubio is just putting up a facade of some sort... To hide his antagonistic side and his narco-militaristic endeavors... I hope he becomes a real antagonist at a certain point in the story and I'm sure he will.. He looks quite serious in the promo art.

The free vehicle is probably gonna be something they wanted to add, but is kinda obscure / doesn't quite fit the theme of the update.
