Not really shocking tbh. Almost every big update is their biggest yet. Before this it was Diamond Casino

True but has Rockstar ever come out and said that there updates have been the biggest ever up to this point? I can’t recall that they have.

I'm pretty sure the diamond heist was the biggest update ever, then the resort before was also the biggest. And I'm also sure that doomsday was also the biggest ever.

I think doomsday is bigger than casino update.

The trailer is more attractive as well.

You guys are acting like this behavior form R* is something new. Let me remind you, that when the Casino DLC (y'know, probably the single most anticipated piece of content ever in this game) was to come out, we got an "announcement" on June 20th, followed by a month of radio silence, a trailer on the 18th of July and some additional info in the week before release.

It's not that Rockstar are suddenly silent - it's that they've never been loud.

It might just be me that has this opinion but if the Island does become availiable in freemode I am kinda hoping that 75% of it will be a no fly zone like yachts.

Still have a Airfield you can land at from the mainland, but stray to far from that and the direct flight paths from the main map and you will get shot down.

You could still parachute from high enough altitude spec ops style.

Also a Car Ferry from the mainland would be nice and make the storage bays In things like the Titan work so we have options to bring cars over.

Definitely not. They have been doing this for as long as i can remember. However, they always teased the update 1 or 2 weeks beforehand with the exeption on the Casino DLC. I am fully aware of the situation. Although, when they advertise this "As the biggest DLC ever" you might think they keep us more updated on the matter. But yes, i am not surprised they dont because this is Rockstar after all.

Interior wise? Yes, I think it brought some cool places, structure wise? Casino is better.

Trailers wise, the original heists trailer is still my favourite GTAO trailer, that song and the excitement and nostalgia, it's just too good.
