This makes perfect sense. They could have reminded players that GTA still exists, and at the same time players would have had all the time to finish Cyberpunk first before getting into GTA again, since the update got teased a whole month before.

Can I ask why?  New weapons don't interest me at all.  Old weapons, I aim, I shoot, they die.  New weapons, I aim, I shoot, they die.  This is honest curiosity, not trying to start anything.

I think they don't care, and if they do, it's probably just to the point where they won't release it during the same release day, that's all.

why are u people sh*tting on delays so much? if anything respect to them. most games just launch in whatever state they managed to finish the game "on time" and it would be a massive buggy mess, ingame glitches or optimization problems. At least CDPR is brave enough to delay their game so its not terrible to play at launch, unlike some other developpers.

I PvP a lot. I'm always looking for ways to gain an advantage over my components and new weapons bring new playstyes. We text beforehand and we have friendly PvP battles in special made maps. I have the same thought however with generic vehicles in the game. You press the gas, the car goes forward. I understand the premise behind it though; driving around in the game is fun and so is collecting. Same goes with more weapons i guess.

I don't have a problem with delays, but I do question the state of a game that was delayed less than a month before its release, Rockstar Games delayed GTAV and RDR2, so not sure who you refer to by "you people" when we are fans of a game made by the masters of delays.

 

Oh and by the way, Cyberpunk is still gonna be a buggy game at launch, believe it or not.

Interesting.   I try not to PVP at all.   I've found that the people who come after me don't have enough skill to even challenge me, hence no need for new weapons.

I know you mean an entire theme but just look at arena wars. The main thing would be the gamemode which like arena wars would be basically an adversary mode and there would probably just be some new clothes, cars etc and owning cop cars and the cop outfit. If the gamemode was interesting it could keep people playing longer than arena wars did but still no where close to what a new location and new heist will. 

Maybe if they didnt make the arena a bunch of adversary modes, which require a bunch of people to play them, it would of been better. Maybe if money didnt determine what everyone plays in game, it would of been better. Maybe if the vehicles needed to play it, were not stupidly expensive, it would of been better. Maybe if it didnt have that stupidly high amount of ranks and xp needed to get ranks it would of been better. Maybe if there was some solo stuff, it would of been better. Maybe if the unlocks were not behind a complete rng system it would of been better. Maybe if the special monkey blista wasnt locked behind winning like 100 times in a row, which made boosting the only way to get it, it would of been better. 

 

Taking pictures of the monkey mosaics like singleplayer, would of been the much better way to unlock the car.

We already have a 60s F-body camaro/firebird its the vigero, as far as F-Bodies go all we need is a 4th gen. 

 

all they need to do is add more mods to the Vigero and add the rusty stuff from gtaiv as a custom option.

It’s rather like cars. If you’re not a revhead, you’ll just pick something without putting much thought into it unless you intend to race. You have to be a gun otaku to get it. Interested in the history and design of a certain firearm, and being able to experience it like how you mightn’t be able to in reality. Granted, GTA 5 isn’t as loving in gun accuracy as Redemption 2, but it’s still the most realistic GTA in terms of gunplay.

Looks like they finally understood this. I mean, if you plan to release a SP game every 5 years with no SP dlcs you should cater more to the solo player if you want to get everyone hooked. I know that I enjoy GTAO because I have friends. Solo play is not fun at all in this game. In RDO on the other hand is cool because they designed almost everything with the solo player in mind.
