Error: 0x2001006, frequent disconnections from Rockstar game services?

What i believe,this problem comes from R*. When i was playing gtao for the first time,my connection was below average yet i never got disconnection problem like ever. Its just sometimes the cloud service for saving the game failed to load or whatever.

 

When i play rdo in beta state (with much better connection) i got disconnection issue although not as much after the frontier update. It must be connected to player counts in the session,low populated lobby we got not too long ago 0 disconnection for me. Player counts goes up again,at least twice a day like last night when i was talking to Sean. He still describing the mission then boom black screen Error: 0x2001006 came up.

PS4 Pro with SSD fitted had hundreds of these disconnects in 1st year came back to game just before the low lobbies some 2/3 months ago not had any thru that till this week and had 2 of these disconnects now 

 

Is it download speed nah not here it ain't I've got fibre optic to within 4ft of my console with 200 meg down and 40 meg up and had that for the last 3 years or so.

 

I believe its linked to the larger lobbies we previously had and now have again

@Pocket Fox Talking about internet connection and having a good speed! So why does the game studder and losing framerates around certain players?

 

I haved only some disconnects when R* moved from 3-5 to what we have now! But now it works good but not great due to there are some issues still lingering around!

Not that I feel it was OP's issue as I strongly believe the game has issues in general anyway. But something to consider maybe.

I don't know about consoles, but on PC if you have any of the 5 required ports blocked RDR will not load at all.

It used to work until they made a fix for it, but it still works for GTA.

 

It's definitely not internet speed related, my speeds tested as follows:

without VPN around 550 Mbps up and down, ping 3

with VPN around 75 down, 15 up, ping 46-54  which is still way above the minimums required.

 

It may be partially the larger session at fault, but I'm pretty sure it's something R* tweaked last Thursday which they had previously changed at least 2 weeks before that.

They're ramping something up and it's ruining the game.
