Blake Berry 0
I've been playing with the muscle and fat in this game and I've found out that if you have exactly 50% muscle or fat, you can't run as fast and jump as high except people have been saying 45% is when you can't run as fast or jump as high. Is it 45% or 50%? I only wanna know this because I want CJ to look like a normal human being and I know Michelle (and Katie I think) prefer CJ having high muscle (75% I think) and Barbara prefer CJ having high fat but I got all the oysters so it doesn't matter. GhettoJesus 2,136
Muscle doesn't effect CJ's ability to move, only his fat stat. That being sad I tried to mess around with it and while it is quite difficult to estimate what's 45% and what's 50% it seems to me that I managed to get about 45% fat and I couldn't jump on top of these buildings (whereas with skinny CJ I could). However I am not sure whether CJ's running speed was affected, I didn't notice any differences. Edited November 11, 2020 by GhettoJesus cl55684

TDP992 84
I don't see the point of training CJ when the game gives you no healthy food options. They give you gyms to go to and then you can only eat at fast food places. :/ Edited February 25 by TDP992

BrainDeadRaven 154
Honestly, I've never been able to make it through a playthrough without him getting 100 muscles. Everything he does adds to them. Run? adds. Swim? adds, stand around to long, adds (not really, but damn) I take him to the gym once. What really kills it is running around during the gang wars and training for Wuzi's mission
poland stronk 294
Musculature increases melee damage and climbing speed. The trade-off is decreased movement speed. Fat has no positives so you should always keep it at minimum. Fat should be used as a buffer when you go on longer periods without food so CJ will first burn through fat instead of his muscle mass. It's kinda funny this game was released such a long time ago and has pretty realistic simulation of body physique (not counting the speed and fast food diet).
