Jcinny 0 Posted November 8, 2020 Share Posted November 8, 2020 I have a theory about the strange man I think he is the Angel of death and karma ghost who becomes an embodiment of karma/honor and dishonor in the afterlife. I think they are passed down though different recently dead humans like a title/role. I think Arthur Morgan was destined as the next. That’s why the decisions Arthur makes in the game are reflected in the shack. The panting is also being formed in the shack because Arthur is still making decisions on his journey. Also John says he looks familiar when they meet and the strange man picks the meeting spot on Johns future grave site because Arthur knows Johns own journey in life is ending soon. Even though John dies while following an honor and dishonor system doesn’t mean he becomes the next Strange Man I think it’s just Arthur was looking out for his Old Friend and brother one last time. Also I think the remarks from the Strange Man to John are not meant to be mean more sarcastic like messing with your younger sibling.
