Best Ways Of Making Money In GTA 4: TBoGT

Here is the best way of making $$$money$$$ in GTA 4: TBoGT

This will be updated and updated through time

 

 

15K-22K From Armando and Henrique
=================================

To unlock Drug Wars, complete the mission "Clocking Off"

After you complete the mission, pink/red drug pills icon will appear on the map

Note: This is only available in TBoGT DLC of GTA 4

 

Doing Drug Wars will make you well paid. By stealing stashes and drugs. There are four types of drug wars.

 

1. The Convoy
You will be chasing a moving vehicle loaded with stash and drugs. All you need to do is to shoot the driver in the window, get the vehicle and park it in the drop-off. Then you will be paid 15K dollars.

 

2. The Highjack
You will be stealing a parked vehicle surrounded by guards. But sometimes no one is guarding the vehicles, but you'll still get a wanted level. If there are any guards, you need to kill those guards, get the vehicle, and park it in the drop-off. Then you will be rewarded 15K-17K dollars.

 

3. The Stash
This is the most profitable type of drug war, which you can get a maximum of $22,000. You will be going in a gang holding a stash that contains money. All you need to do is to kill the gang members, get the stash, and put it in the drop-off. And you will be rewarded good profit which is 15K-22K dollars.

 

4. The Stickup
This is the 2nd most profitable drug war. You will be going in a drug deal. You are the one who will kill the dealers, and get the drugs. And Armando and Henrique is in-charge in the buyers, they will kill the buyers, and get their stash that contains alot of money. Then put it in the drop-off.

 

Armando will be the one who will sell the stolen drugs. And he will split the profits.

REMEMBER!: If your about to die, take cover, grab your phone and call 362-555-0100/482-555-0100 (its actually a cheat which will make your health into full again)

 

 

Easy Money On LC Cage Fighters (by billiejoearmstrong8)

Load the game and go bet on a cage fight (just a small amount) and observe whether the fighter on the left or the right wins. This is predetermined by the game, so that if you reload the save even though the fighters will probably be different it'll always be the one on that side that wins that time, guaranteed. Simply reload and bet all your money on the side you saw win before, and collect the winnings and save. 

 

Then repeat this (including checking which side is going to win first each time) as many times as you want, increasing your money exponentially. The downside is it takes AGES to bet all your money because the only way is to hold down the stick/button as the bet goes up one dollar at a time - finding something else to do and leaving it stuck with tape is recommended if you want millions.

 

 

Robbing Guys At ATM's

This one is also available in GTA 4, GTA: TLaD and GTA 5

 

When you kill people in GTA 4 & 5, sometimes money will spawn next to the dead body. And when you collect it, you only get a small amount of money (like $10-$20). Here's a way to get a large amount of money for that ($100-$300). This one is perfect for GTA noobs. Find an ATM, its actually mostly located at banks. And wait for a guy to acces it. Once a guy is starting accesing it, stay away from him/her so that the guy might not think that you are stalking him/her (sometimes you get punched in the face). DON'T DO ANYTHING YET! Wait for him/her to finish accesing the ATM. Once its done, kill it already, and collect all of his/her money.

 

REMEMBER!: If you got a 1 star wanted level, grab your phone, and call 267-555-0100 QUICKLY (its actually a cheat where your wanted level will turn into 0 stars)

 

NOTE: Doing robbing guys at ATM's is effective if you only got a low amount of your in-game cash. Its useless if you are rich in the game.

 

 

Easy Money At Thriathlons

If your flat because your poor in the game, why not to try this?

NOTE: This one is only available in the TBoGT DLC of GTA 4

 

Go to a thriathlon (finish the mission "No. 3" first and it will appear as a race flag in the map). First, you will jump off a helicopter, and parachute to a boat.

Here's a tip for that: Activate the parachute EARLY! Not late.

 

And get in the boat. You must choose the Jetmax or Smuggler because they are fast. While boating, you must not miss any checkpoint. Once you reached the island (which is the finish part of the boat race), get on a car.

Here's a tip for that: Don't stop the boat into the water, keep accelerating the boat EVEN if it's moving on the land (in the island). And when the boat is stopped on land, exit the boat QUICKLY. Once your opponents are already running for the cars, you can bump them so that they can perform a ragdoll. PICK the Bullet GT because it is the fastest among the four cars in the thriathlon (sorry if im wrong). If an opponent got the Bullet GT, you can carjack him (if the car is not yet accelerating). Or if the car is already away from you, pick other cars which is fast to you. If you are not in the 1st place, you can shoot your opponent's tires of his car. He might slip in the road and crash, which is good.

 

REMEMBER!: Only activate the nitro at STRAIGHT ROADS ONLY. Don't activate the nitro if the road got alot of curves. Your car might go to the water. Sometimes you crash the car and you will jump off in the vehicle and die when you hit the ground (actually it can take you 10m or more in the air).

 

Once you won, you'll get $1,000-$2,000 as a reward. Plus, the car is that you picked is yours! It's free! But you can't activate the nitro after you finished the race.

Although your way is much more fun, the actual best way to make money in TBOGT is by betting on cage fighting, with a trick to know which one is going to win before you bet.

 

Load the game and go bet on a cage fight (just a small amount) and observe whether the fighter on the left or the right wins. This is predetermined by the game, so that if you reload the save even though the fighters will probably be different it'll always be the one on that side that wins that time, guaranteed. Simply reload and bet all your money on the side you saw win before, and collect the winnings and save. 

 

Then repeat this (including checking which side is going to win first each time) as many times as you want, increasing your money exponentially. The downside is it takes AGES to bet all your money because the only way is to hold down the stick/button as the bet goes up one dollar at a time - finding something else to do and leaving it stuck with tape is recommended if you want millions. I stuck at it until I had over 100 million and couldn't be bothered any more (since it took almost an hour to bet the money the last time), but I'm set with cash now and Luis is way richer than Niko or Johnny lol.

 

If we were talking about TLAD you'd be right though. No get rich quick schemes for Johnny, gang wars are the only way.

@billiejoearmstrong8 ur right. Also you can use cheats in drug wars. Well in cage fighting is also fun. My bad moment is there is I bet $1,500,000 and I lost. Jeez!!! Anyway. Completing 100 drug wars may give you $1,000,000. I completed 190 drug wars and im so rich now

That's where the trick to check which side will win first comes in handy! 

 

But yeah drug wars are the more fun way. I haven't done that many but I've had loads of fun doing the equivalent (gang wars) in TLAD to get Johnny out of the poor house, when I finished the story he only had about $70,000 lol.

Thanks, it took me for about 3 minutes to adjust my bet into $150,000. And I won $550,000. Thanks, man
