Mister Pink
Growing up watching Bond, usually around this time of year even the evenings was always a treat. I loved the exotic locations, women, and gadgets. What more could a young lad want? And who can forget Indiana Jones. RIP big man, gone but nae forgotten. Uncle Sikee Atric
Rest well Sir. Your legacy will be honoured for generations to come, although your acting ability will forever be questioned by some. Weird to think Timothy Dalton is now the oldest Bond left. (Technically it's George Lazenby, although I know of a lot of false fans who forget about him when they shouldn't.) ---------- Edited to add this, a lovely image. scorseses
The rogue with the brogue. Sir Sean Connery laid the substratum for what would become the biggest espionage franchise of all time, and one of the biggest film franchises of all time. Grotti Vigilante
Diamonds Are Forever, as are the memories he gave so many as James Bond. If only you could live twice, but at least you had a good run at 90 with a nice retirement beforehand, having gained many fans, probably including from Russia, with love for the work you did! Rest in Peace, Sir Sean Connery. Lonely-Martin, Karl11, Algonquin Assassin and 2 others

NaidRaida
So much childhood memories. It always looked so easy to save the world. Goodbye Sean. Clap one more girls butt in heaven for me, please. Long ago my father showed me pictures from his youth, he was diving at the same location where Thunderball (1965) was shot. There was a scene with divers and an old bridge crossing a small canal and he was always a big fan of Nassau and the Bahamas. Makes me smile whenever I watch Thunderball, as if my father is diving around there somewhere too. With his nasty sixties haircut. GhettoJesus
Rest in Peace, he was the original one. Some people may say that they prefer other actors doing Bond but everyone will give it to Connery that he defined the character.

Algonquin Assassin
Without trying to sound too morbid (I hope it doesn't come across that way) after how crazy this year has been for obvious reasons and many actors dying way too young it's refreshing that someone got to live a long life and passed away so peacefully in the Bahamas of all places. Still R.I.P Sean. One of the all time greats and will be sadly missed. Lonely-Martin
So many memorable movies. Not just Bond, which I grew up with and will forever love, but movies like Indiana Jones, The Rock, Entrapment, Rising Sun, The Untouchables, all cracking stuff as I grew up. I'm sure I've missed some gems too, though aside Bond, I am less familiar with his earlier work. RIP indeed, and thanks for the memories. -l-, Ivan1997GTA, Algonquin Assassin and 1 other

Oh, does that make him any less of a legendary actor? Should we now completely erase all his works and shame and shun him for a quotation taken out of context to the Playboy magazine on an interview done in the 60s? Let's ignore also that he has come forth and said that any form of abuse is never justified. And the one person to accuse him of hitting a woman, his ex-wife, was also completely drunk when it happened. If he was so pro-slapping women, surely we'd see the behavior happening way more often. Yet it didn't. Mr. Galloway, NileshKumar, Lonely-Martin and 3 others
