lol. They are literally reusing models from Grapeseed for that field in the teaser. I doubt this map will be accessible outside of the missions, although it'd be good if they allowed free-roam.

Could we confirm that this is a new island? if this is so .. uff we have a lot to analyze. To begin with, we would be talking about the first piece of land added since the game came out, this is very interesting to see how they implement it. It could be only accessible in missions or it could be in free mode as an addition to the map, if this is the latter we may see some new coding in the area, new textures in the terrain or some modification to the game engine, perhaps we could see signs of what we will see in gta VI, in addition it could be the beginning of the evolution of gta online that we will see in the next generation (ps5) with many more islands like that. I don't know about you, but I'm very excited :)

This new island, yeah it's confirmed. I'm betting mission exclusive in Online, just like the submarine, aircraft carrier, and North Yankton in SP. Based on my scaling of the island, it's too damn small for much.

I’m late to the party but what are people’s thoughts on this leak about 6 being set in VC, LC, Carcer etc with three protagonists again? 
 

Side note: about the new "map" in GTA V...what really is there to say? It’s a tiny piece of land that will have no use beyond the heist it’s made for.

Agreed! GTAO is so bad man worst net code in any online game i've ever seen + 10hz servers + outdated gameplay/gunplay + 50% of playing in GTAO is doing nothing looking for something to do + imagine playing with random players in a heist! 100% worst online gaming experience! and after that infinity loadings for online and then disconnected! lol

 

That's why I wish VI's online will be so different!

It's fake. The person who leaked it did a pisspoor job of spacing between letters. Let me write it out:

Not to mention that image of downtown Carcer - it's a painting or a heavily filtered picture of an American city. It isn't Detroit.

I think it was inspired by multiple places, but not Philly. Camden, New Jersey is an inspiration as is Detroit and Gary, Indiana. I never played Manhunt though so I'm not exactly sure how well the old map looks.
