The release of GTA V is not an obstacle to the announcement. GTA V release in September, GTA VI announcement at the end of October possible.

A subscription for GTA would be even worse than microtransactions. With microtransactions you can pick if you want to pay anything but a subscription you'll HAVE to pay and I know players will not take that well, especially when it's a game you've paid full price for.

This. GTA Online is way better with microtransactions, because they're optional, and GTA Online is free. With subscription, GTA Online would not be available to anyone.
I wouldn't even call Shark Cards something that is needed to play the game, they're totally optional, everything in game can be earned by playing the game.

Honestly, you should do it, maybe when and if we have another "good" map leak, it was amazing and one of the best moments of the forums this October, along with preacher's comeback. Now it's just pretty damn empty.

tbh, I hope we're not getting screwed with online mode "new location" (even if it will be just new building); if they won't deliver and they will just expand Diamon Casino complex, I will give up on R* since it will mean they won't make any effort even for their cash cow

I think I will. I was halfway through analyzing one other leak, but I didn't bump the topic with my findings as I lost interest and was glued to election coverage since in real life I'm a political junkie, I love following it. 

 

I'm without a car for a few days, pretty much locked into my house, a comfy prison of sorts, I think I'll go back to analyzing. I had so much fun.

Maybe we can over-analyze the map more. We can search the google map to find where the stadium, the airport, or the island were taken from. If it is a result of quick google map photoshop, there must be a location somewhere that closely resemble them.

Perhaps we should analyze if in the new version of GTA V the mirrors are going to be functional (to see the traffic jams in HD), how many new animals are going to be introduced, or what new car model they are going to parody in the new heists dlc and if it's going to cost a million or 2.

We can. I did write up a little bit on Vestawa Island's leak just now, but I'm lost with where to analyze because it goes nowhere. Reverse searching anything turns up nothing. The old one however, I'd still like to find the satellite locations. Those were not rendered by any graphic designer.

i think that map is real i dont know why but for me unless this is an elaborate hoax  its to well done for me. 

 

the only thing people could say its not a faithful recreation of miami and the other island has no airport or ports and dodge island is missing. 

 

first rockstar never redoes cities to  the tee lc was missing staten island and five had no san diego which is a major part of southern california . 

 

as for above point there is clearly a visible runway or airfield on the second island . 

 

and the first small island connected to miami beach looks like a port or for me similar to ls port

Some of the graphics on these games for PS5 is really amazing, really going to heighten my expectations for GTA VI.

It's just the beginning, these consoles can do a lot more than you see in Miles Morales or Valhalla or Demon's Souls Remake  Some people see this generation as the biggest leap since...PSX. Keep in mind though, that you'll need good TV to see all graphical bells and whistles.
