I guess there is hope for anything driving related in GTA VI after all. 

Acquisitions is unrelated to Rockstar though, T2 maybe owns Rockstar Games but Rockstar does their own acquiring.

Wouldn't be the first time that different T2 studios helped each other out. Afaik Hangar 13 helped out with GTA V and Rockstar helped out with Mafia 3 a bit.

Agreed. 1970's or 80's Liberty state with additional locations based on smaller cities such as Yonkers, Buffalo, Rochester etc. Large rural area with the Hudson river flowing through the map. Watch Fear City: New York vs The Mafia - this is the exact vibe that GTA VI should have.

 

A Vice City setting would be a terrible idea.

If it is Vice City, then i rather have the Bahamas instead of full recreation of South Florida. Just checking what 70's/80's Bahamas looks like. Turns out to be an interesting place, like an isolated version of Vice Beach.

 

Modern day Bahamas also look cool.

Yeah, you got that right. I wasn't implying anything tho, but there's seems to be some kind of hope for cars and everything driving related in next GTA. With CM in the picture, some infulence must be felt in that regard, one way or the other. Driving mechanics of IV and V for example, were embarrassing to say the least and I deeply hope someone at T2 have finally realized that.
