He did the same on Oct 26 last year, where he showed everything that he got right withRDR2 back in 2017. tl;dr: People remembered that one year ago there was some Preacher stuff, gonnae posted something vague (as they have done other days here), people started speculating, gonnae posted a video saying Tomorrow likely because of the anniversary of last time and not an info drop, topic spins out of control.

 

Staff didn't even move a finger, and gonnae barely did so (yes, I looked at their post history in the past 48 hours). This is all on yourselves. Don't yell "ban the Preacher" because you're free to ignore whatever they post, they barely post here as it is - most of the discussion is about their legitimacy and what not, and you're free to make a topic about it even, so we can at least try and bring this back on track with crazy speculation instead of crazy bashing?

 

Then again, during Where is the Blue, Genesis and 5 Bullets, 5 Guys, etc it was all the same stuff so...

That should be the least of our worries mate.

They could charge Vi for 100 bucks and i assure you millions of people would still buy the game. 

Buying a linear game for a steep price yeah that wouldn't be cool for a lot of people.

 

But a Rockstar title? You can't put a price on that. Name any fricking price and people will get it. It's Rockstar. Its more than a game. It's an experience second to none.

Let's be honest, price increase was a must if we don't want microtransactions, millions of so called "DLCs" etc. People may not realize it but nowadays you need a lot of people to make great AAA game. A lot of people working on the game for a long time = a lot of money spent on development of that game. Personally I'm more than ready to spend 70$ on next GTA.

I have no issue spending more on GTAs or Red deads of the industry.

 

If im already hyped for a game like RDR im probably buying the most expensive version, thats even if its mostly pointless like with rdr 2. (ive copped ultimate twice and dont play online)

However games like RDR and GTA are so few and far between especially in this day. Games rarely even ship functional, its all business and cash grabs.

Standardising the higher price is nothing but greed imo, MTX isnt going anywhere . Higher priced games will just drive people towards Game Pass esque subscriptions and de value individual titles.

2. The industry is not struggling to make money. Games are  not struggling to make money at least not the full priced AAA ones (the same ones going up in price). These companies are making more money than ever. i dont know enough to say thats not just because of mtx but the entire industry is thriving and theres more customers than ever.

In regards to price, if they decide to increase the price of the games, i'm f*cked, because the prices are wild here in Brazil. Its like, 1/4 from the minimum wage here. This is just sad
