PS4 to PS5 transition will take 3 years, more cross-gen games coming

 

Imagine GTA6 being released on PS4 although I don't think it's gonna happen.

Hehe, Grand Theft Auto VI is surely going to be released on PlayStation 5, but by then we will be waiting for PlayStation 6 and we are going to speculate if Rockstar should bother with PlayStation 5 release.

I hope not   . In the long run gta 6 would not benefit if they release that sh*t on ps4 cause ps5 will be also be downgraded . Also it ain't running on ps4 

200 gb at the very least for gta 6 and ps4 will start flying at that point . i think gta 5 enhanced and expanded proves that . Rockstar definitely wants to release a game (Gta 5) on next gen before releasing Gta 6 .

Yeah the good thing about GTA VI release being so far away is that at least we are sure it's not going to be held back by the old ps4/x1 hardware, I really don't want another GTA V.

IMO GTA VI should focus on The Mob during the 1970's and 80's. Watch Fear City: New York vs The Mafia - thats the exact vibe GTA VI should have.

I just don't know why, but 1970s just don't fit for a GTA game to me. Maybe for a spin off I guess but for a number titled game ( Which are always set in modern time or close to the year of the game release ) no.

It can very easily work. I wouldn't want the 70's either. But it could work just as easily. If you can, play Driver: Parallel Lines. It's set in 1976, then 2006. Pretty decent.

Yeah I played it, it's not something I would play again but the idea was interesting.

Mmmm, maybe related with GTA Online biggest update ever they teased a few months ago? It could be true that a new map portion (like an island or something like that) is coming and the development and distribution package for the update they are using is as DLC add-on format because of the biggest file size obviously compared with normal GTA Online DLC´s packages? Because I doubt they are releasing story mode DLC´s, and I want it so much to be clear, but knowing how R* focuses nowadays I doubt it, and paid online DLC´s I also doubt it because that would kill the actual "play free but grow fast in game paying real money" model of the game, and if they make paid DLC´s people would stop playing because of that model based on paid online expansions

I don't know what to expect from that but it's nice to see they are actually starting to add features to their not really necessary launcher.

What guys like yourself need to understand is that there has been absolutely no indication what so ever that GTA VI will be called GTA VI. The name GTA VI or GTA 6 is just one big assumption and a place holder name used by the fans to speculate about the next instalment of the GTA series.

 

At this moment in time the 1970's is the most likely time setting for the next GTA game. Guys like yourself and others on here need to be more open to the possibility of a 1970's setting so you can avoid disappointment when the game is revealed late next year.

i think that rockstar is making gta O stand alone , So maybe they added support for (SP) dlc's for gta V after Expanded and Enhanced, We need to buy dlc's for SP or maybe Online i guess

And what gives you the idea that I expect next GTA to be just called GTA VI? Guys like yourself should stop judging others just because we have a different opinion on possible setting.
