oh right yeah, i've only seen the film once about a year ago - I'd forgotten about how it works. 6 weeks could be plausible but it's dangerously close to both march 25th and April fools day so i don't trust it lol. Also in 6 weeks the UK's lockdown is greatly reduced (April 12th) so maybe more employees are going back to work instead of working from home?

oh sorry its just that the UK's lockdown is getting cut back a lot on April 12th so more people would be going back to work in Rockstar North, Rockstar Leeds, Rockstar Lincoln, Rockstar Dundee and Rockstar London. I was kind of joking tho its probably coincidence

With GTA V rising in popularity in both 2019 and 2020? 2019 being the year where GTA Online had records of most played game? With GTA V being free on Epic? I would say that is the other way around. If you didnt imagined that Rockstar would announce a re-release for the PS5, and instead would announce GTA VI, well, then you just fooled yourself

I almost don't know how to respond to the suggestion that a major R* release is a risk.  Their AAA games are one of the surest things in gaming.

I agree, also they will break records with sales either way - there's no real risk even if the game doesn't live up to the hype.
