If Starfield actually comes out this year then theoretically TES6 can come out in 2024 but earliest I'd imagine it'd be 2025. Also BGS most probably will make Starfield Online or whatever.

Imagine Rockstar making a pirate game, Like AC Black Flag but 5 times better.

 

Pirates genre isn't really much on the market.

It have alot of potential

I've wanted to see them tackle the revolutionary war era. I'm mildly fascinated with it as I hear too much about the Civil War and WWII. I'd even love a Korean War one, having two or three protagonists with separate stories, but you can only choose one from the beginning and you have them for the rest of their story. It would also remind Americans that the war isn't over yet

these are supposed to be remakes on the Unreal Engine. Not remasters.

Seems like Naughty Dog's next IP will be a medieval outing if those art work leaks are anything to go by - makes me think whoever started the rumour about Rockstar developing a new medieval game may have got confused with what developer was doing what.

Where tf did you get Unreal Engine from? They'd be remade on RAGE, if anything. No sense in having your studios learn to work in an entirely different engine and environment if they can just use RAGE, which already has several GTA related features coded into it.

Rockstar Dundee is making them. They were formerly Ruffian Games. They have more experience with Unreal Engine than RAGE.

Time is going to move on faster than we think.

 

The last time I was talking to a buddy about GTA VI was in March '20, when the Preacher was here and got our hopes up. We talked about our hopes for the game and exchanged some character ideas for the next online.

 

After the disappointment that was March '20 I wasn't here very often and didn't talk to anybody about the game anymore. Last week I talked to my buddy about it again and we were amazed that nearly a year went by since we last talked about it.

 

So, I should get off this forum and it'll be out in no time lol

 

But seriously, I'm expecting a Fall 2021 announcement and if I don't think that much about the game until then time will fly.

 

2023 release will be horrible though. But it will be the same as RDR2 for me:

Announcement - super hyped.

No info for a long time - lost interest.

Game will be out in a week - can't wait!

Unreal Engine isn't really all that good for open world games, though. Or at least all of the games I've seen on it always struggle with distance rendering and the low-poly models pop in really early. It also means they couldn't implement Euphoria, which R* wouldn't want to do. And at some point Rockstar Dundee will have to work on RAGE, so why not give them a side project first? By the time they're done with 3, the simplest of the trilogy, they'll have it figured out and can make the more complex (meaning more mechanics) games faster. Just wouldn't make sense to keep them working on Unreal either, since RAGE is just too advantageous for GTA games, what with it being made primarily for that.

Yeah it's probably a modified version of Unreal and Rage mixed together. Can't wait.
