I mean, Grand Theft Auto V had kind of awful score, in my opinion.

Project Americas in March 2018 was the first 'leak' that mentioned Vice City.

The only other thing that realistically suggests it is the location scouting for an unnamed 'digital media company' in Florida.

 

Everything else is fake.

Most of it comes down to Liberty City, San Andreas and Vice City being the only 3 cities they've set their games in (ignoring stuff like GTA London); they did the 3 of them for the 3D era main series, and with the HD era of games, they've done Liberty City and San Andreas (sort of), leaving just Vice City to tie up as a trilogy of sorts.

 

Things can change, obviously, but it's a fairly strong pattern, and the only one we have, so hey

We are just fans of the 80s because it defined so much culture. Even the fact it came out a year later from GTA 3 its impact was amazing.

Im fan of the 80s too. I would like to see Vice City again but as the time goes on for some reason Im starting to believe its gonna be a new location. dont know why. just a gut feeling I guess.

Given the current state of the world, I doubt it's even set in stone. I imagine they have a solid idea on when they want to. But it's subject to change. Even then, I doubt those few people that know visit here. Individual devs might. But they don't know. At best they have certain deadlines, and might have a rough idea.

After the whole cyberpunk delay situation i can understand (not necessarily agreee since we are talking about 2 extremes here) Rockstars silence and the way they operate.

 

People are cancelling their preorders and are extremely upset for a simple 20 day delay. 

Sure i wanted the game sooner but 20 days ain't much.

 

Sadly Cd project Red put themselves in this position by overxposing the game and by promising things that they couldn't deliver (release date).

 

Rockstar of course is the complete opposite but at least when they drop it the world will shake.

cd project had some sort of investor call this week, and they got asked "okay, so –basically –we can be comfortable now that the game is definitely coming out on December 10, is that what you’re saying?"

and the answer was: "that’s more or less what I’m saying, I guess –yes."

That would be catastrophic...

One more delay and it's over for them imo.

I can personally take a delay to 2021 (got lots of games and also every December is Gta online month for me) but most people will crucify the CDPR staff.

When some Cyberpunk gets a final release date... Rockstar is going to announce Grand Theft Auto VI and drop us some screenshots, maybe a trailer. Everyone is going to forget about Cyberpunk.

 

Why would they do that? Because they fear some overhyped Cyberpunk game? No. Because they want to show the babies who's in charge.

Rockstar may be quiet about their games but they f*ck up the same way other companies do. they announce the release date way too early and then have to delay it. there is nothing more annoying to me then when these companies announce their game 2 years before the game is even coming out. then they give you a release date 9 months or a year before it comes out and then it gets delayed. why cant they give us a release date 6 months before the game is coming out when they are 100% sure its gone be ready? that way you dont have to wait long and it shouldnt get delayed.

Yeah, this exactly. Have Rockstar released a game since San Andreas that hasn't been delayed? Just wait til the game is finished and then say it's out in the next 4-6 months
