Not gonna link some clickbait article but apparently models references to modern guns have been found in RDR2, missed since launch due to lack of file names? They aren't for GTAO either. 

 

Given that the naming Americas was also found and then removed from the files... who knows

I've read they've been in the game since always, that kind of stuff hidden in XML's is easy to miss. Regardless, wouldn't make sense to be in an update as those are more modern weapons, and by now development of RDR2 has surely branched off from other projects, so unlikely RDO updates have files from either GTAO or a GTA VI.

Oh, no I just meant in an update, as in maybe they were accidentally included. Not like new weapons for RDR2. Similar to how GTA V vehicles were found in MP3. Maybe as they were working on GTA VI, some files got crossed over and references to them somehow got leftover in code, in one of the RDO updates. I know, sounds crazy. Just a wild theory. WFH has it's issues, and all, right? Trying to cover all possibilities.

 

So, what's your take on it? Aside from "Who knows" 👍

I honestly don't have much more to say other than "who knows" though. It could very well be GTA VI related, but it also could've been some strange testing they did at some point in development.

 

Given the fact we've seen the references to Americas before, it could very well be GTA VI related. More than one thing now...

It really depends, though. A lot of poorer countries use older weapons. South America use a lot of older weapons. So... it's not exactly indicative of it. Moreso just means it is still possible.

In June 2019, there was a reddit post from JackOLantern1982 with a very detailed list of "GTA 6 leaks." As cool as these all sounded, it just seemed like a too good to be true scenario that was built off of the original Project Americas leak from The Know. The Reddit post was also deleted shortly after making the user seem guilty and the leak fake. I was just looking back at things while researching and a few of these "leaks" actually happened in the recent Cayo Perico Update. Just read through and most will seem very familiar to Cayo Perico.

 

The big one however that made me think, "man this might have some credibility now" is this specific line

• A younger Martin Madrazo will make an appearance as will his father who is a big drug lord at the time. You do some missions for the Madrazo family involving hits on other gangs.

Instead of working for a young Martin Madrazo, we meet his young son and instead of doing "hits on other gangs." We do a hit on a rival cartel. I mean what are the odds that this is a big coincidence? And also, if the line about Madrazo "confirms" this leak. Does that mean all the other details would be true? Not sure if this has been mentioned already. Just want to make it clear I'm not referring to the original Project Americas leak which I believe to be true.

 

TLDR - gta 6 leak everyone thought was fake had a bunch of stuff come true in the Cayo Perico update

I created a fanmade story a year ago for the 80s in which a younger Madrazo would also appear and we would work for him. Does this mean I'm legit? No. But it does suggest that other people have similar ideas as I do.

I've seen a few people speculate about Madrazo too. It's a very rich vein of potential plot development, it could branch off in all kinds of interesting directions and across generations of the family. I guess that the writers in Rockstar had the same kind of ideas.

 

I always thought that the narrative of how Madrazo came to make his dodgy fortune would be an interesting one for future versions of GTA to explore. Let's see...

the first one is Boris Brejcha @ Miami Bogota Cocaine Cowboys, the interesting parts are the dj which is german, plus is some kind of dance music concert like in the dlc, and it has Bogota which is in Columbia.

the second one is How I Smuggled Weed From Colombia to Miami. Again Colombia mentions drugs and Miami in the 1980s, the channel name is also VICE like in vice city, this is a screen from this video, possibly a hint for the project americas map?

 

 

from the same video, the main guy has a cowboy tattoo, from the music video title

 

 

next to that tatto there is also the number 6 tattooed , 03:12 min on the video
