There are two moose in freeroam the Snowflake and the Knight (haven't found them either grrrr!), but the one that was a special hunt for Harriet, the Ruddy Moose, was only available for a time. I was hoping that they would put all of those ones in rotation so that we could have a chance to get the ones we missed, like they have the legendary bounties that are now available at the boards.

 

Played tonight, 12 person lobby and the only legendary we got was the Iwannarock! panther.

this mission was by far the hardest for me. died about 5 times couldn't see the damn thing in the night environment they put us in. only yellow eyes.

You can also collect the sample, then kill it and give the carcass to Cripps. You can do it with every LA that can be stowed on your horse (what you can't do is to skin them after collect the sample).

But I'll totally understand if you don't wanna do business with Harriet. Can respect that, money isn't everything

I’m not clear if you have the answer already or not, but the Ruddy Moose is still available as a Harriet sighting mission, and I’ve also seen a number of the other ones like the banded gator, golden spirit bear, shadow buck and milk coyote. So, they are not limited to the week they were introduced. I’ve seen lots and lots because I can’t get the darn boar sighting mission to show up for me, so I’m checking Harriet all the darn time, grrr.

Still in rotation. Just a matter of luck to get it during your playtime.

Sampled a legendary ram, killed it, then tried to turn it to Cripps, no avail. Do you have to reanimate it before the kill to make the carcass available for donation?

Was working until a couple of weeks ago, but in fact I haven't done since the update. Patched, maybe? heh, they're fast when they want. On the other hand, the egret/spoonbill eggs that keep glitching...

And responding: no, no reanimation. I used to shoot'em sedated.

Guess I gotta get lucky, lol I figured it was gone since it just never wanted to pop up for me. 

 

As for this panther, my daughter took two really good shots of the thing as it was attacking me. In one picture you can see the entire side of the jaguar as he was pouncing at me, my horse was standing there and he was in the shine of the lamp on my saddle and everything. In the other picture it was running away from her, but very visible and not too far away. She did not get credited for either of those pictures.

I on the other hand got credited for my wonderful picture of it...

Worked fine with the moon beaver (PC). Step by step: sampled, killed (while sedated, you loose honor but who cares), stowed on horse, removed from horse, served to cripps. Never tried with a ram. They used to be ps4 exclusives, maybe that's the difference? Or a platform thing? Whatever. This game is so broken that not even exploits are consistent lol
