Gardee568 1
I want to install some mods for single player but the recent update is preventing me from doing so. I have tried the Zolika Patch downgrader but I had no luck running the game with it. Is there any other way to downgrade GTA IV to version 1.0.7.0? Edit 10/28/20: Success! GTA 4 has been downgraded! Fierelier 21
Check if you have Visual C++ 2005 SP1 x86, check if Games for Windows Live is installed. If that doesn't help, try using XLiveLess , but you will lose multiplayer. Just making sure you know: ZolikaPatch in itself is not a downgrade, although he offers a downgrade here. Alternatively, you can also use my downgrader, but you will have to patch your game up to 1.0.7.0 manually and get it to run yourself. If you want a fast start, use Zolika's downgrade. If I download Xliveless, do I need to download gfwl?

B Dawg 10,242
After you downgrade to any version, make sure to also use the Radio Downgrader (specifically the old one/linked in Zolika's guide) or you'll have problems in Singleplayer.

B Dawg 10,242
Actually use it before downgrading the game, or you'll have to change the episodes folder structure to do it.

Turns out I was using another version of xliveless, But now it works! Thanks! But prior to this I had saves already, is there anyway I could transfer them to this version? Fierelier 21
Yes, you'd just need to find where your old saves are, copy them to the new spot, it should probably work. I unfortunately don't know the details, it depends on the xliveless scripts used.

I successfully downgraded the game however I'm getting texture floor loss here: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Fallasa568/images/ I can't increase my vram higher than 2047 even though I have a 6gb card? Fierelier 21
You usually do not need that much VRAM for GTA IV, try lowering the available video memory by using -availablevidmem 0.9 or slightly lower to what you already set it to. Alternatively, use ZolikaPatch and enable the VRAM fix in it. -- Also, your community screenshots seem to be set to private/friends-only.
