Staunton Assassin 2,184
Escalator Physics Fix by @Staunton Assassin About: Spoiler SA's escalators are broken. Their steps move, but they don't escalate or de-escalate any peds at all. This game engine bug hasn't been looked into by anyone yet and many people have requested to various known modders to fix it. So, Escalator Physics Fix fixes that game engine bug with... a .COL file! It removes the unneeded "wooden slopes" in the escalator collisions that "overlap" with the escalator step collision. Somehow, this fixes the peds being unable to stay on the escalator steps and makes the escalators work properly, just like VC's escalators. nkjellman 1,715
I wonder why this has not gotten more attention. I always hated that you wouldn't stay on the step when using the escalator in SA. Glad someone found a way to fix it.
Deere 30
Nice! Though I wonder if the same can be done with the walkalators on LV? At the moment it only works on vehicles, iirc
Staunton Assassin 2,184
@Deere: The escalators in LV work fine. Although, the steps need to be moved slightly upwards so the game gives their collision more priority than the floor's collision.
