A few points:

3. This does not look like Rockstar artwork. Almost looks more Bethesda tbh.

3.1. "Weiners"?

3.2. The line that Quincy says is far too "on the nose". R* does dirty humour but prefers to be more subtle, not just go directly "we go deep inside you hueheuehue".

4. Employees aren't as interested in breaking NDA's as everyone thinks. I'm pretty sure even WFH you can't just take a screenshot of some art, raw, straight from the Windows Photo Viewer like that. Especially because employees probably don't even have access to the art at all times and don't store it on their computers, and once again, not interested in breaking NDA's like everyone thinks.

4.1. The "mate" excuse once again. Game development related to theme parks? What?

5. Len makes a good point. We've had one of those before where people "matched" the golf course from the trailer to a fake map and... it was fake lmao.

 

DO NOT underestimate how dedicated some trolls can be, especially in 2021 where it's easier to spread things and anyone with some kind of graphics design skill could do something like this. I cannot wait for GTA VI to be announced at some point so we can just laugh at this, but I think we're giving some troll too much attention again, which is why they feel so compelled to make minimally good looking art. This is coming from someone who has dealt with VERY dedicated trolls before, it wasn't for map fakes necessarily, but if people can fabricate stuff and register accounts and what not for years and years on end - why not a fake map?

Look, I get y’all are tryna do damage control or whatever, but a few things, Quincy world is only part of Fred’s fun world. Fred Quincy, right? And also the writing may be “too on the nose” because ALL of the writers from the previous games are gone now. And also, you’re just ASSUMING that it’s this person that you think it is, based on.... nothing?

That's not actually true. I recently 'spoke' to someone on Twitter who wrote a billboard ad in GTA V. Things like these are done by a lot of different people. Not all just one group of writers.

I’m talking about just the billboards. I’m talking about a complete tonal shift due to all the original writers being gone. The writing direction will probably be very different. Even then, the thing spidervice pointed out about “wieners” is also mentioned by the lady in the linked Reddit YouTube video.

judging by your response its safe to say what he said triggered you, since youre ignoring the valid points he made and responding with le epic laughing man, so it definitely hurt you a lil bit, but you'd rather make fun of him than bring arguments. the first point on your list is wrong, as Quincy's is supposed to be part of Fred's. the rest of your points are pretty strange as well, claiming it doesnt look "GTA style", as if you'd have any idea what their artwork for a completely new game would look like, or as if you'd have any clue whatsoever on the level of subtlety of their humour.

The hot dog stand in the theme park is at the entrance, and she said that they codenamed the project “wieners” because Walt Disney said the links of the park that held everything together were like a sausage link that attracts people like wieners to a dog, or some convoluted sh*t like that. Obviously on its own it doesn’t mean much and would be circumstantial at best if it wasn’t for everything else altogether. That presentation was about future GTA developments. Dick joke or not, it’s relevant in the scope of everything else.

This place has literally been one of the main sources of Rockstar leaks for decades, the only thing "known" right know is that you have literally no f*cking clue about GTAF's history lol.

 

And remember, just cause staff posts their opinion on something doesn't mean it's the stance of GTAF as a whole. We can post our thoughts too, ya'know?

There is abandoned park in Mafia 3 and it works like abandoned park for mission where we fight gang boss.

 

Guess shootout in fully living park in GTA 6 will be probably over the top, but guess they give us 30 minigames that we must played at least two times to get 100%. Because Rockstar logic!

That's literally standard across the web. Twitch, Youtube, Twitter, other fansites and fanforums etc, that's Take-Two actively taking down leaked footage of retail copies of the game pre-launch day.

 

If you want proof you don't know what you're talking about, go look at the RDR2 mapping thread where the REAL MAP was leaked YEARS in advance and was discussed for YEARS as we tried to figure out of it's legit or not. GTAO leaks? Never stopped, and in some cases have come from people that are GTAF staff.

 

So yea lol, you don't know m8.

So there WAS damage control? That’s what I thought. I was here for those other leaks, like when the CEO and low riders pt2 was leaked. It was still sh*t on and wasn’t believed. But to say there’s been no damage control and I’m just making sh*t up is false. I remember it happening and you do too.

How in God's green earth did you get that there was damage control from anything I just said?

 

Do you not understand that every publisher takes down streams and clips of retail games that players have got ahold of before the street date? CDPR, Take-Two, Acti-Blizz, EA, MS, Sony.. you name a publisher, they all do it. This is common practice and not "damage control". This only happens in the days before launch.

 

It also has zero and I mean zero connection to leaks such as the theme park map.... as, like I just said, and you ignored because ???, the RDR2 map was leaked years ahead of launch and never once was removed from GTAF. It was in fact removed from where I believe it originated, NeoGaf, but here? Nope. Discussed for years in detail by various individuals until we got proof it was real as names in the trailers started to match up with names on the leaked map.

 

The fact your proof is that people didn't flat out believe leaks when they were just that is completely daft. People disbelieve leaks at first glance because of a mentality that they've gained after a bajillion proven fake leaks that have happened over the years. That's nothing to do with staff, regular forumers dunk on that stuff too until it's proven. If we're not actively trying to "damage control" leaks, we certainly aren't telling our bloody users to do so either lmao.

 

If we wanted to damage control stuff we'd flat out remove the thread. If we dunk on legit stuff that turns out legit because we're doing damage control on Take-Two's behalf we're just gonna look like fools in the end, it'd be a lose-lose for us.

 

Again, it's simply people giving personal opinions and the reason why staff have picked up on your comments is because of that. Not everything we say is some hint towards GTA VI or being some Take-Two lackey or whatever, it's just us being fans, like you. It's frustrating when we're not allowed to do that because some fictional nonsense gets brought up.

Generally any leak can be made by human since games are made by humans, only they require team.

 

Looking at the Quincy wolrd picture, what makes it more belivable to me is actually the quincy model. Rockstar uses the 'make everything look in game' way of doing things including the models, you can see it since gta iv if not earlier, where they use their own engine to prerender stuff. The model is not like it can't be done by someone but it just looks too R* to mee. Msotly the lightning setup.

 

As for the mods covering talk, i don't think mods are covering anything per se, just normal conversations there. And with amount of fake leaks gta 6 gets it is pretty easy to see why mods want to not let things get to the sh*tter levels of sh*tposting.

 

With all that being said i do know at least one of you is working for rockstar, form that gta v leak that got deleted really fast, but was the first leak i know to predict Franklin, Trevor names v+ some other details, and included a graphic with mentioned cancelled gta games beforhand (Los Santos stories on psp) . I got my eyes on yall

I'd like to clarify since I didn't make it clear in my original post: the portrait of "Fred Quincy" in that Fred's Fun World image is literally just an image of John Cleese's face pasted onto the neck of the stock photo I posted.
