Game won't recognize numpad (Simple Native Trainer) / Looking for a configured trainer.ini

Using this SNT optimized for the current 1.2.0.33

 

I'm way used to the SNT for GTA V and i recently just installed this one for IV but the way this f*cking thing controls is making my brain hurt

 

and it appears the game just isn't recognizing any of my inputs at all with the numpad, (when i absolutely do have one, i wouldnt be taking up a USB slot for this keyboard if it didn't have one) At least, it seems like it doesn't detect the numpad. After a lot of button mashing on the numpad numbers it'll eventually spawn a random attacking ped or a taxi. I have no idea what's happening.

 

Is there an .ini somebody's configured to where it doesn't have any BS shortcuts to random features and just lets me use the menu instead? i tried to make sense of the ini myself but just gave up

If you are used to the GTA V's SNT, than use only the Zolika Trainer

But it seems like you've installed both, Simple Native Trainer and Zolika's Trainer. The Simple Native Trainer will spawn attacking drivers and taxi's on one of the Keys above the Arrow Keys.

And to the numpad problem: I dont really now, is your numpad even activated with the num lock key?

I didn't install both, I just installed the one  plus the only reason i didnt install zolika's is because i'm using the version of it optimized by somebody else to work with the current GTA IV complete edition. 

 

Also, it turns out, i tried to control the simple trainer in GTA V with the keyboard (i'm always using a controller and i use that to control it instead, because it has controller support, i only use FN+F4 to open and close it basically) and it apparently is supposed to control the same way, with the numpad... and it doesn't work there either. I don't have numlock on or anything. (i don't even know if i even have one of those? i'm not looking at the keyboard right now but it's one of those awful little shocky apple keyboards) the numpad works everywhere else except for GTA IV & V.

Ok thats very strange, i dont have a apple keyboard, if so, i would've tested it for you.

If you have such button on your keyboard: https://imgur.com/a/i4VeoF5 press it, the green light needs to be on (if your keyboard has this button as i said i dont own a apple keyboard)

 

And i dont know if this helps but it's worth a try: Go to control panel > then Ease of Access > Ease of Access Center > Make the mouse easier to use > uncheck the option Turn on Mouse Keys and hit ok

So the CLEAR button is in the same place, and it's used in bootcamp in place of the numlock key. Pressed it, and it seems to work just fine now!!! 

 

now um, is there a way to turn off all those shortcuts to random trainer actions??? because i can navigate the menu JUST fine now, lmfao

Good to hear that it's working now!

 

Yes you can deactivate these shortcuts.

For the Simple Native Trainer (The Trainer with just text on the screen) you have to go to Options and then on the right side there is a option called Enable/Disable Keys and just disable that.

For the Zolika Trainer i cant tell because i'm not using it. Try looking in the Trainer Settings menu.
