36CornDogs 0 Posted September 8, 2020 Share Posted September 8, 2020 So when I try to start GTA V (on steam) it almost immediately crashes (like as its loading) and gives me a message saying I dont have the right version. how do I fix this? I dont want to have to reinstall it bc Im like half way through story mode, but I dont know how else to fix it. JinuMathers 0 Posted September 9, 2020 Share Posted September 9, 2020 You need to update your game. After update, you need to replace the correct gameconfig files, heap files, and other stuff. I recommend you not to remove the mod for now. The reason is, the scripts are outdated. Check your game version. If it is 2060.1, it will crash. Because the scripthook V currently support only till 2060.0. Recently the game got updated. Solution: 1. Remove the mods and scripts. Game will run. or 2. Wait for the scripthookV update.
