The mobile textures do not match the gamma values of the original PSP/PS2 textures, they instead match closer to the GTA3 textures, that's why they appear brighter.

Hmm.. the new textures are not showing.

 

-I did a clean install of Re: LCS Beta 5.0 Build 816.

-Installed this mod in scripts.

*Never mind. I got it. Modloader goes in the main folder, modloader.asi in scripts. My bad.

That's nowhere close to being finished yet! But it uses the same files as a base so there's no need to change anything TXD wise, these would work fine.

 

edit: and btw, it's called reLCS not re3lcs.

Unless they were texture changes, no. Object changes will be IDE/IPL changes and models will be DFF changes.

I imported it to the .img and installed open limit adjuster.

The mod seems to work fine on reLCS:

Ok, so there is 3 ''RE'' projects involving Liberty City.
I can only find videos of this  ''Re: 3 LCS Styled''.

 

It's a GTA 3 remake using VC engine?

As far I know, there's no motorcycles on GTA 3.

Oh, the video says that the mod is made using RE:LCS as base. So yes, my mod is compatible with it already then.

Hi, Well this comment is not about this Topic. But I have a problem. When I complete the Mission "Love on The Rocks" right after I put the Van in the garage, and right before it says "Mission Passed" The game crashes. So I'm asking, if any of you has a savefile? If you can, then enter "Documents" Folder, then "GTA Liberty City Stories User Files" and there will be 2 files, one called "gta_lcs.set" and the other is a savefile , like "GTALCSsf(and then a number of the slot you saved you're game in).b" Example: "GTALCSsf1.b" or "GTALCSsf2.b" all the way up to 8. So if you have completed that Mission, can you send me the savefile? Anyone please. Thanks.

There are improvements in the models from mobile? I thought that only the textures was changed.
The models from GTA III Xbox don't have a better quality? In the ''xbox mod''' thread they say that xbox has something called '' light maps'' (something that improved the lightging? I supose).

Some of these TXDs have the original intact texture (32x32 resolution) and others have the broken HD texture (128x128).

 

I decided to upscae it myself:

I just used ESRGAN's "4x_FArtDIV3_Base" model since it produced the best result between it, "4x_Manga109Attempt" and "4x_NMKD-Superscale-Artisoftject_210000_G".

 

I'm going to fix the listed TXDs with the upscaled texture and upload them here in a moment.

EDIT: Fixed! They used the same name for different textures, that makes no sense. The only TXDs that actually need the transparent net are:

Hello everyone🙏

 

First thing first, you did a huge work over here, that's impressive, thank you very much. That's one of my favorite GTA's. I came to show some tiny bugs I found out, just a few for now.

 

Right here we got the lights texture

And here we got reverse door. It'll be nice, if you flip the door texture horizontally.

Also, there is a problem with far-away buildings lods, they are blinking, but I guess that's not about the textures.

 

Also, there's the VCN Maverick in this game, you can spawn it. I don't know about a modder, who create a port, but it could be nice if someone change logo from Vice City News to Liberty News, or Liberty Tree logo.

 

And another thing. I got the game crash on Leon McAffrey missions with this mod. Maybe it's only on my computer or some. By the way, I use it on Beta 6 Build 15, everything goes well, except this right here.

 

Actually, I think that the modders all around the world should start to make more mods specially for this game/mod. It's kind of undone because of Take Two, but it's already playable LCS for PC.

I'll have to mix LCS and III map, since the game has some differences in the map. So it's not a 5 min job.
I'll port the map and test the missions, if it is all nice and stable, I'll share here.

Are you still working on this mod? it would be really cool play LCS with Lightmaps :O
