_ROM30_
Which engine sound did you like the best? I sometimes go looking for specific cars just to hear their motors, even tho the sounds are recycled throughout the vehicles R* did a good job at putting these together for an open world game at the time. Diablo stalion, cartel cruiser and BF injection is one of my favs. The kuruma, sentinel, taxi, cop car etc sound is awsome aswell. It just reminds me of a basic family sedan 6 cylinder car when you floor it. Copcaller

Definatley the v8 sound suits the cartel cruiser. if youve played Liberty City Stories they replaced the sound and it just doesnt suit it.

Lord Bizkit
Diablo Stallion - I often love stealing this to drive as my go to car for missions, even though I have to drive to Staunton and Shore side to initiate the next missions. When you hear the High RPM kick into gear as soon as you are doing a good old stallion oversteer from the pursuing diablo foes. Arriba To you Fools!!! Banshee - Oh does this need an introduction?! When you hear the turbo Engine Go off as soon as you smash your way out the dealership in preparation for turismo, and this is the daredevil of a game that supports no bikes (especially in Portland), which I actually enjoyed doing stunt jumps with this bad boy Borgnine - Yeah this may be a peculiar choice for a car that doesn't have the most exhilarating engine noises, but hear me out, its great to compliment the blood sucking stained on its front bumper. Just let all the NPC 'squishing' sounds come into effect. It really gives those earn 2 die vibes, and that's what I love about its bland engine noise; it just helps it to contrast its bloody aesthetics. Duhillestpunk
Sentinel/Mafia Sentinel. That car had the sexiest engine sound ever and rightfully so as the car was based of the BMW. _ROM30_

It does sound cool, almost sounds like a family sedan 6 cylinder engine going flat out but Im not sure what motor its recorded from irl. Another topic I wanted to post is where did rockstar record their engine sounds from. Duhillestpunk

There's no need to create that new topic :P MrFinger has already made a good documentation on where GTA III/VC/SA engine sounds came from. (minus Faggio and Rustler right now.) Here's the link to the thread. For instance, the Mafia Sentinel uses the Mercedes Benz 500SEC sound. Pretty fitting, both are German cars and uses 6 cylinder engine.
