Amber Starfield
So, this is not a good movies list by any standards. This is more of a list of movies for those that lack standards completely. What are some of the most insane films you have ever watched? Please provide a short description as to why they should be on this list. I hope this will help me discover some new material to watch as well. #1 - Blood Sucking Freaks (1976) contains gore, torture, s&m, naked cannibal girls, typical NYC police detective work, brain surgery, and a midget. #2 - Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny (1972) Santa and his sleigh sitting on a Florida beach - the end. Okay well, some kids try to pull his sleigh using various farm animals to no avail, and there is a musical version of Jack & the Beanstalk or Thumbalina thrown in as filler material depending on which version of the movie you see. At the end you meet a creature made of pure nightmare fuel - the Ice Cream Bunny. #3 - Star Wars Holiday Special (1978) Featuring Chewy’s family grunting through 90% of the film, Mark Hamill in drag, grandpa wookie’s orgasm, plushie mutilations, X rated hologram gymnastics, Jefferson Starship preforms a concert for an Imperial commander, an unrequited love story and musical plays out at the local cantina, and at the end of the film Carrie Fisher sings for the wookie community. - Still it was better than the latest Trilogy. Craigsters
with Sean Connery "You don't understand! I could've had class. I could've been a contender. ~Tiger~
Hotel Splendide (2000) starring a not quite famous yet Daniel Craig. Quote The Hotel Splendide is on a remote and cold island, accessible only by a once-a-month ferry. It's a dark and dreary spa created by the late Dame Blanche, whose grown children now run the hotel according to her specificiations, serving up ghastly seaweed and fish-based food and enema treatments. Kath, once the sous chef, arrives when she receives an anonymous letter telling her of the matriarch's death. Will she bring light into the place with her wonderful cooking? It's like some strange long Yakuza nightmare. It's disturbing to say the least. One of the most bizarre films I've watched is Gummo. Here are some crazy scenes. Some real punches thrown here, lol. Also a scene where this guy pimps out his downs syndrome sister to local kids in the neighborhood. Lock n' Stock
It's literally two unrelated movies edited together. Watch from start to finish and tell me if you can make any sense of it whatsoever. Mister Pink and Amber Starfield
Mister Pink
Palindromes The film starts off at the funeral of the writer/director's previous films protagonist. It's like an Easter egg connection to the same world, much like GTA worlds are connected. The protagonist of the previous film kills herself and then the story starts off with her 13yo sister, what's played by 8 different actresses, which are different ages and races. Yes, it's bizarre. The girl gets pregnant, gets an abortion and runs away. She ends up at a Christian Fundamentalist home for runaways. The father of the home hires this trucker driver hitman that kills abortion doctors. The girl falls in love with him and much more. It's f*cking mental. Tod Solondz films are disturbing and often bizarre to say the least. Happiness, Welcome to The Dollhouse, Wiener Dog. Happiness is also bizarre... This is more disturbing than bizarre. Algonquin Assassin
I remember watching Bad Boy Bubby a few years back and Holy Motors was a movie I watched as part of my films studies at uni three years back. Holy Motors in particular was one big “WTF am I watching?”. -l- and Mister Pink 1
Arrows to Athens
Irreversible (2002) This movie is pretty damn disturbing. The fire extinguisher scene and 10 minute long one-take rape scene will haunt you. -l- and Sil3ntWr4th_-
Creed Bratton
Do terrible movies count? Because it doesn't get more bizarre than Beware! Children at Play. You couldn't get away with that sh*t today. I don't know what's more bizarre. That they shot this scene, or that they did such a terrible job at it. I don't remember much about the second and third, but the second is one about a guy who is obsessed with the villain's work from the first film, and the third one takes place in a prison, with the villain from the first movie returning. The second is entirely in black and white due to its extreme graphic content. -l- and Sil3ntWr4th_-
LittleBlueTroll
You Were Never Really Here. Maybe I missed the mark here, but I didn't have a f*cking clue what this film was about. I was so lost. The ending baffled me as well. Arrows to Athens and Mister Pink
Watain
In more recent memory, this one... It's bizarre in how over the top it is, its dialogue and the amount of random nudity it provides. I don't think I've ever seen another non-triple X movie with such frequent nudity. It's ridiculous. But... I'd be lying if I didn't admit it's funny as hell. I had some great gags watching it and I was entertained all the way throughout.
