Please, don’t. Especially Mike and his annoying, piece of sh*t family.

I find Michael to be far more memorable than the entire GTA 4 game & stories. I'd actually rank him 3rd player character in the franchise.

Really, the c uck Michael more memorable than Niko, Luis or Johnny, Michael with the dystopian ungrateful family who lived of past glories, more memorable than the Serbian hitman ex soldier immigrant who realized how sh*tty LC was and was always stucked between so many messes, the Costa Rican who made time in the joint for their childhood friends and has a nightclub with Gay Tony, more memorable than the badass Johnny who didn't gave a f*ck who he messed with but had a weakness, Ashley who end up being his reason to be murdered.

Ok then.

I wouldn't mind seeing them back in some type of role. Nothing can be worse than Tom Connors.

Michael wasn’t very memorable at all. Can’t remember too many funny or dramatic moments that didn’t include him tag teaming with franklin. He was old, soggy and sad. his character arc went nowhere. In reality none of them should really return unless they were at the casino getting drunk and blowing money

Play it again. The guy has a dozen or more solo moments & scenes that are the top tier of the franchise. The psychology of the character is the best of the series by far and has more complexity & depth than the entire previous game by the time he walks away from Simian's dealership. Quite possibly the best character in the history of the company.

You know they were all kind of cool in their moments, but really, Gta5 was just a homage to superficial cheesy la blockbusters. I didn't really feel for them. Acting was pretty good too.

"Hey I got more to lose pal."

"I've got a minigun you miserable f*ck."

And Frank's first scene with Lamar was great.

Of the three, I think Michael is most likely to make an appearance.

  • Jimmy was introduced with Arcades
  • Solomon Richards introduced with Summer DLC

Last we saw Michael, he was a movie producer, in most of his switch scenes in Story Mode after ending C, often hands-on, on set. Still clearly associated with Solly (exiting restaurant), berating bouncers "Look me up" etc.

I think there is scope in Online to do a Hollywood-Style DLC - i.e. get involved in the movie industry, buy into a film studio etc. Michael's retired (again) from the thug life, so needs someone as good or better than him to do his leg-work. That's us.

mmm luis is dominican, not from costa rica 😂

overall gta 4 was great, i could have lived without johnny, he was meh as f*ck

for me niko is the best lead, followed by luis and michael, i like him a lot, he is real, doesnt have a perfect life, has a disfuctional family, etc etc those are the type of things that make him more relatable to some, specially older folks that play the game 🤷🏼‍♂️

Fam, play the game again and pay attention to Michael. He has some of the most legit moments in the series from the dive infil on Humane Labs, having been tortured & chained up by the Triad, so on & so on, nearly every time this guy is into something it's better than previous entries.

The character is top of the list of psychology & development. That scene I mentioned with Franklin breaking in & taking the car.. Franklin is an extension of Michael, he represents the old Michael. Michael walked away from who he was because of Amanda & Jimmy, he resents them, the decision & the life he now lives as he no longer has any actual identity. This is what pushes his family apart, this is why he is depressed and distances himself from Amanda, leading to both of them cheating on each other. When he puts the gun to Frank's head, he essentially has the gun to his own head. He decides to spare Franklin. The long drive to the dealership, much like the long drive in the prologue, the end result will change everything. He invites Franklin into his life. The first few missions teaming with Franklin revolve around Amanda & Jimmy wronging him, the 2 people he lost his idntity for, and the destruction of who he has become with the loss of his boat and pulling the house off the side of the cliff. I could easily write 50 pages on this character but I'm trying to remain as brief as possible.

Due to the structure of the game, it's very easy to gloss over Michael in the first 2 or 3 playthroughs. This is why I suggest playing again and paying attention to Michael. His relationships, his choices.

There's more here than any other GTA before it. Those entries before this were very standard for the most part and a lot of them typically read like every other Dolph Lundgren-Steven Seagal B movie. Fun games, classics in their own right and they play well... but there isn't much beyond the surface with most of the series....

My favorite GTA is Vice City, but it's also the most egregious offender in the franchise. I've used Tommy quotes in daily conversation for what 18 ish years since it's release? Still today I'm using the lines... Does this make for the most memorable character or is it memorable dialogue from one of my favorite actors? The character itself was very basic. As for GTA V, I've never used any lines, no quotes... Beyond Insemination. What are we doing here? Duke Nukem or Sam Fisher? Is it the mere existence you remember? Does that qualify all memories as memorable?

Does this mean Tommy Wiseau's The Room is on the same level as The Godfather, Casablanca, etc?

I’m so confused as to what point you were trying to convey. Like, am I supposed to know anything about those movies your referencing?

michael is old fat pretentious rich white guy. He’s not very relatable, and all the problems that plague his life are purely his own fault. To say his character “develops” is, frankly, a lie. He’s the same scumbag at the beginning of the as he is at the end. I’m not compelled by him at all, and nothing about his deprived self loathing existence makes his memorable. He’s a DECENT character but he doesn’t hold a candle to a character like Niko or Johnny, Hell, not even Luis. I’m sure you have your own reasons and reservations for championing Michael, but in retrospect, 7 years later, he’s not not very memorable at all. With or without funny punchlines and quips.

If they return for the upcoming heist then Lester better comment on the fact that we (high levels) run circles around these people, and dont tell me any of that "yes but baswaq" nonsense, because our online characters cant do that (and even for the sp characters its optional) so unfair comparison

Anyway like i also recently posted in the speculation thread, madam Nazar pretty much confirms that this will happen at some point.

Quote

I see bitterness, and ambition, and madness. They shall all come to this city...

Reference to the three protagonists of Grand Theft Auto V: Michael represents bitterness, Franklin represents ambition, and Trevor represents madness.

Focus on the They shall all come to this city... bit
