@enmael omg this is hilarious, the last one "I understand" lol. It's funny because everything that Rockstar proposed, we already proposed it here and we proved it was wrong and that it came from the game. Support is incompetent, they don't even know that they corrected this error a week earlier, no communication.

PS: did you try @AbdelwahabAlaa "fix" ? cause you said your vram counter shows correct value, like him.

Yes, rockstar support sucks, and they make you repeat the same process a thousand times for nothing.

I still do not prove what it says @AbdelwahabAlaa I will try it and let you know if it works for me.

Already exhausted all the options, rockstar support is rubbish, at least I tried.

After updating to version 1.52, my game stutters a lot, after 20 minutes of playing gta online it starts to vary the fps very abruptly and it becomes unplayable, I have freezes in the image and that has never happened to me before, I hope that you can give me a solution. I already tried: uninstalled and reinstalled gta v and it didn't work, problem persists. try to lower the game graphics, it didn't work either. clear the cache of rockstar game launcher and it doesn't work either. I have updated my windows 10 to the latest 2004 version and it doesn't work either. my system: Processor: Intel core i5 3570k, Ram: 8gb Graphics: Nvidia gtx 1060 3gb 500gb hard drive

One moment while we connect you.

Hello, thank you for contacting Rockstar Support, my name is Angela. Please give a moment while I check your account information and I’ll be right back.

I understand that you are facing an issue with the game freezing or stuttering. Is this correct?
Yes, that is correct

Thank you for the confirmation and I apologize for the inconvenience caused.

I will do my best to help resolve this issue for you.

Please provide me the updated Dxdiag and Msinfo files of your system
ok how do i do that?

Please see the steps below which are also documented in this support article:

Thank you. Please allow me a moment to check the files.
ok

It is taking a little longer than I expected. Please give me some more time.
ok

I appreciate your time.
ok

Please check if you have any pending windows update and have it installed

I already did and still have stuttering and freezing issues

everything is up to date on my system

Alright. I suggest that you start the Rockstar Games Launcher with admin rights and launch the game.
I always run it as admin and still have the same stuttering and freezing issue

Okay. I suggest that you try re-installing the graphics drivers and check if it helps

I already tried that yesterday and it didn't work

Hello there, My Name is Sidney. Due to inactivity on your conversation, it has been directed to me. I am going through the chat, please allow me a moment.
ok

Thank you for waiting.

I request you to keep a back up of the saved files and then try the below steps.

On PC: In your PC's "Documents" folder (C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents by default), delete or rename the "Social Club" folder. The files will be redownloaded the next time you start the game. \
I already did it and it doesn't work

Did you still get the FPS issue?
yes i still have stuttering problems

Let me see what can be done next.
ok

Thank you.

It is taking a little longer than I expected, may I take a moment more to check this information?

Thank you for waiting.
yes

In this case I would request you to try the below clean boot steps.

Type “msconfig” in the Cortana Search Box and click on System Configuration On the Services tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box, disable all services except “Rockstar Games Library Service” and Steam Client Service. On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click Open Task Manager. On the Startup tab in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then click Disable.

Once, done I will walk you through further steps.
I did that much earlier and it does not work, the background programs had never given me problems when playing before the last summer update and the 1.52 update.

I hope they are already working on an update that fixes this stuttering problem. the game before update 1.50 and 1.52 worked perfectly.

Please try the below step:

Open Nvidia Control Panel Click on Manage 3D settings on the left bar Click on the Program Settings tab Locate GTAV from the drop-down menu under “Select a program to customize.” If you don’t see the game on the list, then click on the Add button and another list will appear If you still cannot spot the game, then you need to add the .exe file manually. Click on Browse Locate the folder where you have installed the game Select the executable file or the .exe file which in this case should be GTAV.exe Once you have successfully added the game, you will then see the program settings become available for the game Now tweak the following settings: Threaded Optimization: On Power Management: Prefer Maximum Performance Low Latency Mode: Off Texture filtering – Quality: Performance
I already tried this "solution" before and it didn't work either.

I already searched the internet for all kinds of solutions and nothing works, the problem is in the game.

other games work well for me, the only one I have problems with is with gta v.

THE ROCKSTAR SUPPORT IS TRASH, I'M TELLING YOU THAT MY GAME HAS PERFORMANCE PROBLEMS AND YOU MAKE ME CHECK THINGS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MY PROBLEM. THEY MUST GET TO WORK ON SOLVING THE PROBLEM SINCE I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO REQUESTS IT.

I ALREADY EXHAUST ALL THE OPTIONS THAT YOU MAKE ME VERIFY, EACH TIME SOMEONE NEW ATTENDS ME SAYS THE SAME THING THAT YOU JUST TELL ME.

I'm sorry you feel this way. However, I fear you'll have to try the steps I shared to see if it helps
I ALREADY PROVED ALL THAT, I JUST TOLD YOU IN THE MESSAGE ABOVE, WILL YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND?

I understand.

This is how hundreds of players are feeling like since the costumer support only gives nonsense "methods" that could "solve" this game-code issue.

I had a similar experience with Rockstar Games Costumer Support, Although some of them were being adequately helpful.

But still, the memory leak is still in the game for me. (It shows 3456MB of non-existent memory when I should only have 1000MB) I have tried everything just as you have, I got nothing else to do but to wait for a new definitive fixed patch.

Someone had proposed this fix (page 4-5, same topic). We explained why it shouldn't work, If it works for you it's great, try to stress your computer, LAZER Jet, low altitude, inside city. Play for 1 hour.

You said your vram was correct, might explain why it works.

I'd say this isn't the solution to the stutter issue, Since I had my paging file on "System Managed" before and after the Summer Update. I did enabled paging file once I started experiencing this issue to "improve" my system performance, which it did helped, but the stutter doesn't goes away on GTA-V.

I understand.

This made me irritated, try to copy this link's forums. When this 1.51 problem came, i started a live chat and she did understood of what i'm saying. And she told me "please be informed that we are aware of it and working for it". And like i said, try to copy this link's forum or reddit, those should help get through R* Support thick skulls.

I have just interacted for an hour with a costumer support agent through live-chat, I had never tried that before.

Of course, He asked for my DXdiag, MSinfo and prelauncher.log files, He then told me the same as I was told before. (About not having the minimum requirements to play the game)

He was trying so hard to help me solve this issue, I am grateful for it. I insisted asking if there's ever going to be an update with a fix and I got no solid answers.

He recommended me to upgrade my GPU to a better one, as if that's easy enough during this global pandemic. ($$$)

I guess the ones that are still struggling with this issue, Can call it a day and move on to other games.

I am gonna get a cpu cooler and more ram soon cause my friend said that might be why and its cheaper than getting a whole new gpu which i already did.

I don't have any heating issues when running any games, I think my problem in GTA-V is just the memory-leak that started happening ever since this famous "Summer Update".

I will try to add more RAM to my PC in the future, (16GB or Maybe 32GB)  As I really can't afford buying a good graphics card right now.

Probably that will help with the stutter problem, I am not even sure and I don't know what I'm gonna do if it doesn't.

EDIT: I had never been in a forum where people are this helpful, informative and understanding. My appreciation goes to all of you.

Thank you. @everyone

@Arotu97

You have a new powerful card, it consumes 188 watts, it probably generates more heat than before. My 12 year old Radeon full of dust doesn't heat up to more than 60°Celsius, the graphics cards and AMD processors of this generation were known to consume a lot and heat up. It also depends on where you are located, and where your computer is located. Don't worry, it's perfectly normal for "powerful" graphics cards. I also have some video games that make my graphics card warmer. As long as it doesn't exceed the manufacturer's recommendations there is no problem. Maybe also there is less space in the case and reduces the air flow.

Today this started happening, its like they tried to fix the delivery circles/corona's, but failed.

It delivers, but no pay, and the vehicle stays.

Edit:

Forgot to post this which happened yesterday after getting kicked out of a casino heist planning board:

The actual phone menu was still displayed below and fully functional

Excellent idea, I recommend a Corsair power supply, don't underestimate such an important part. If you have plans for the future you can anticipate by taking more power than you need. The new generation of graphics cards are going to be greedy.

Hi.
I have a 1 GB ATI 5770 HD, the game from v1.52 works fine. This graphics card is very old and is available in your country for $ 50 or $ 70 maximum.

If you want to buy a new PC, don't just think about GTA 5. For example, future games like Cyberpunk 2077, GTA 6 and the occasional sandbox come to mind. Take those games into account as a purchase parameter.

And the basic purchase, according to my understanding, is the power supply.
Some will advise you to buy Ryzen, others Intel.
Some will advise you to buy NVIDIA, others ATI.
But do not rush with the purchase, and keep in mind that the NVIDIA 3000 line just came out. DDR5 memory was announced next year, so it will be a good option to wait for the new motherboards.
You may not end up buying it, but you could expect a price drop from current technology.

Regards.

Try adjusting your fan settings. For some reason when I'm in automatic mode my fans don't exceed 46%, inside Catalyst Control Center I can adjust them manually. This is much better. 76°Celsius is correct but it still seems a bit high to me. I think you can find your fan settings in Afterburner or in the Nvidia control panel. An acceptable temperature would be between 55 and 65°Celsius (If you can do even less it's even better). Try to find a happy medium. You can even set your fans constantly at 100% but it might be noisy. My game also eat my ram like yours but I don't have issues, no lag, no stutter.
