I have a social club account and a epic acc, both in pc.

I have no problem in yacht missions with my social account but my game crashed when I play with my epic account at he end of 2nd or 3 yacht mission.

Failed to host the the semi finale mission for 4 times(Some gang members trying to attack us in a storm)My character freeze for certain seconds and then my game switch off automatically.I saw my teammate moving in the process.

Check if Epic try to update something in background, verify your connection/game files. This is the kind of things I encountered in the past with Casino Heist, server issue I guess. If it happens only at the end, game failed to save/load something.

Ok so just verify your game files with Epic. Maybe you have everything with RGL but miss something with your Epic version.

(This update is really new, everyone wants to play at the same time. When GTA was free, I had to stop for few days, lots of servers issue. And the game was weird during this period. I'm sure people can confirm this)

Same issue here. Got increased stuttering / freezes after the update, to the point that the game is impossible to play. The game is using up almost all of my 6 GB RAM. Worked fine before the update. My Nvidia GTX 650 1 GB RAM card is being detected as 3 GB in the game. I am on the Steam version.

They patched the Clubber award that I got most session joins, yay

 

Now I get up to 4 instead

 

 

 

VIP work f*cks with the new Simeon lists. I got the "Simeon wants this vehicle" notification as soon as the work ended and was able to respray and deliver then.

Check if your shared memory (gpu properties) show the same 3gb you see in-game.

Ok here's a problem I've been having since the update dropped. I didn't have it straightaway, but I noticed it later in the evening. I play in free aim lobbies. However, I use free aim - assisted. Yes, I know some consider this cheating but I have a valid reason for using it. I play on PC with a controller, so right from the off I'm at a disadvantage against 99% of other players who all use mouse & keyboard. So free aim - assisted gives me a bit of a help (not much admittedly, but it does help a little). Anyway, the update was going fine all day, but later that evening I noticed that free aim - assisted is just working like regular free aim. Even in story mode. I'm not the most technical guy, I believe a second update came out later in the day (1.51 or something like that) and this may have caused it. Has anyone experienced this weird bug before? Having said that it may have nothing to do with the update. I just found it to be coincidental. Like I said, I'm on PC. I have no mods installed.

 

Has anyone enountered this issue?

yeah, same issue here, another user in another topic also reported the same, but he noticed it still works, but now in very close range.

Also, calling Mrs Baker and asking for a car now does nothing. The car you ask doesn't spawn.

What topic did you see that in?

 

Yeah I noticed if you get really close with your aim it might lock on if you're lucky, but it's still pretty much impossible. Glad I'm not the only one. Hopefully they fix it, because most of us controller guys don't stand a chance against M&K guys in free aim lobbies.

Summary of the closed thread 
- Captain outfit is vanishing for some people (might be PS4 related, still unclear, didnt have the issue myself on PC)
- Bravado Gauntlet (one of the new bennies vehicles) doesnt show up in bennies store (happens for some players not for all)

- When you switch session using the menu sometimes it will straight up refuse you to leave, you go to skycam and straight back down and remain in the same session, seems to be a thing that only happens in some sessions
- Sometimes when the Aircraft Carrier event spawns i lose half my framerate, no clue why as it only happens for some of them.
- For some players ammo is vanishing again (i've heard sniper ammo from somebody ingame but might happen with other types too)
- Some people have trouble delivering business battle cargo to their NC marker
- Its impossible to remove custom markers from the map

- iFruit Radio repeatedly playing the same song

- 'Free Aim - Assisted' has a shorter range (unclear if bug or feature)

Stutter problem, like many of you. First few minutes smooth, after that really bad stutters, makes the game unplayable. Reads 4GB vram instead of 1gb. GTA 4 reads vram correctly, and works fine.

 

RGSC Version

Intel i3-4160

2x4GB ram

r7 260x  driver 17.4.4

Win 8.1 64bit

After some research on Steam Database I found a list of files that have been updated 11/08/2020 (BUILD ID 5376572) :

 

 

Those .exe files are lighter after the update, some stuff is gone, maybe code. I think they tried to optimize something. 

16mb seems huge to me, what do you think guys ? Only Rockstar knows what's inside .exe files.
They know what they changed, let's hope.,

First screenshot is files after the update(game has vram bug), second is files before the update (game was fine).

Give them some time, they "fixed" RDO after few days. I'm not even sure they know we have this problem, only way is to spread the information.

 

EDIT : I don't know how many people tested the update at rockstar but they didn't have this issue, probably difficult to find a fix if they don't have computer with this issue.

EDIT : To give you an idea, if you sort by new on r/gtaonline, you find lot of people with this bug.

Sorry if my English is not perfect.

I ran the game between 45fps and 55fps at 1080p before the update, now it's more like 40fps when I don't move and 5fps when I move.

move = walking/driving fast.

My computer is 12 years old (I know), built it for GTA IV, and I bought GTA V in 2014 (day one, 7 disks oof). I have now, 754 hours without issue with my setup. My experience so far was nice. Not great, not terrible.

I have 4gb Ram and 1gb VRAM, game show more VRAM (1791mb) after the 11/08/2020 update. (08/11/2020 in USA)

Everything is up to date, I use Rockstar Game Launcher and the settings below

El juego estaba bien con este archivo settings.xml antes de la actualización.

 

Mi configuración :

• Windows 7 64bits SP1 (Ultimate)
• AMD Athlon II X3 445 CPU at 3.10GHz
• 4 Go RAM (2x2Go, I don't remember but I think 1333MHz, Corsair)
• ATI Radeon HD 5700 1gb VRAM (Sapphire)
• 80Gb HDD for my OS
• 1Tb HDD for everything else.

 

I use 1080p 60Hz. This computer is old af but trust me GTA V was fine BEFORE the update.

 

 

Esto es lo que encontré:

 

• Mi GPU tiene 1gb VRAM DDR5
• 1791mb es la cantidad de memoria compartida que tengo

 

Primero pensé que mi disco duro murió, pero rechacé esta posibilidad : mi carga de juego muy bien, 1 min en el modo historia y luego 3-5 minutos en línea.

Pensé que mi RAM murió, miré mi pestaña de rendimiento (administrador de tareas) y vi 100% RAM y uso de disco duro.
Revisé mi juego dos veces y vi 1791mb VRAM, muy raro.
Se han comprobado las propiedades de la GPU y 1791mb es mi memoria compartida,

 

Problema identificado.

 

 

 

Si las personas aquí con el mismo problema VRAM pueden confirmar / verificar el juego utilizar su memoria compartida en lugar de su VRAM sería bueno.

 

Para probar la teoría de que no es hardware (en mi caso):

 

GTA IV muestra la cantidad correcta de VRAM (1024mb)

 

¿Cuáles son las consecuencias?

• Memoria compartida uso RAM (RAM es rápido, pero no suficiente)
• Si la ram está llena, el equipo se intercambia en el disco. (la velocidad media del disco duro está entre 80-160mb/s)

 

Este combo - Stutter Fest, y tal vez se estrelló.

 

Para reanudar, Este problema no es hardware, el problema es la falla rockstar, tenemos una configuración muy diferente y nuestro juego funcionó bien ANTES de la actualización. Después de la actualización tenemos el mismo síntoma: retraso y tartamudeo, alto uso de RAM / HDD y cantidad de vram engañosa.

Vi lo que pasó con RDO y no me sorprende que tengamos actualización de juego, espero que lo arreglen rápidamente.

Todavía hay algo que no entiendo, por qué algunas personas con una configuración completamente diferente tienen una pérdida de memoria y algunas personas están bien.

Lo siento Samira y Sadie, pero a veces el problema no es el usuario.
El soporte de Rockstar debe informar de errores a los desarrolladores.

Tengo pruebas irrefutables el problema no soy yo, mis conductores o mi computadora, verguenza en mí si no es culpa de Rockstar.

 

ACTUALIZAR :

Ahora tengo confirmación de que NVIDIA no es inmune.

No esperes que Rockstar se comunique sobre los problemas, compruebo SteamDB a menudo, esta compilación (ID de construcción '5376572') fue subido hace 7 días, y lanzado a todo el mundo el 11 de agosto de 2020 a las 11:00AM aquí en Francia. Si prueban algo, les haré saber a los chicos.

Rockstar Game Launcher se actualizó hoy (13/08/2020) He probado el juego de nuevo, nada cambia.
 

 

Mi consejo para todos los que tienen este problema:

Compruebe las propiedades de la GPU (o utilice el método siguiente) y compruebe si la memoria compartida es el valor que gtA V muestra.

Tome capturas de pantalla (propiedades
GTA V y GPU) Envíe esto al soporte de Rockstar y explique.

Decirle a tu juego tartamudear o retraso no hará nada.

No sé cómo arreglar esto, No es mi trabajo. Sólo comparto el problema.

El enfoque de soporte de Rockstar está tratando de resolver el problema antes de saber cuál es el problema, diles que encontraste el problema (si el tuyo es similar al mío).

 

Por lo que sé esto afecta a la versión de Rockstar Game (la versión más limpia posible del juego) y la versión de Epic Game. Si alguien usa Steam, díganos. Encontré a alguien en Steam con este problema.

 

Lo siento todo el mundo esto es muy largo, pero traté de dar tanta información como pueda.

 

EDITAR : level_666 y yo usamos AMD GPU, pero tenemos personas aquí con el mismo problema con controladores NVIDIA.

EDITAR : He oído rumores sobre 64 servidores de jugadores, tal vez prueban algo con memoria.

EDITAR : Rockstar cambió algo dentro de los archivos del juego, si no es intencional podemos tener una solución pronto, la versión anterior del juego estaba bien.

 

Guía rápida y fácil para ayudarle a comprobar su memoria compartida:

Usé el método mencionado anteriormente, pero este parece más accesible

Esto no es una solución. Sólo para visualizar el problema, nada más.

 

1. Lanzamiento de GTA 5
2. Modo Cargar historia
3. Vaya a la configuración y luego a los gráficos, debe notar que la memoria disponible no es correcta. Tenga en cuenta este número.
4. Cierra el juego
5. Inicie dxdiag.exe
6. Cuando el proceso haya terminado, guárdelo en algún lugar
7. Abra el archivo "DxDiag.txt"
8. Presione CTRL+F y busque 'Memoria compartida'
9. Si este número es el mismo, confirma que tiene este problema.

I think most of the people with this bug have old or weak PC's (or both). So it's no surprise noone at R* found it, they probably test on more modern and capable machines. If they test at all, nowadays devs just push any kind of code for players to "beta test".

I don't think RTX 2060 are weak, problem is not hardware just not optimized and poorly coded game. Just take a look, some stuff should be fixed like clubber award. It's not fixed.

Example : Last RDO update. You can't play this game with weak hardware (I mean everyone have decent hardware) and the game is still buggy af. What a mess. This is very embarrassing for a game company like Rockstar Games.

You're right, time pass and we need to upgrade our setup one day.

Rockstar didn't change min/recommended game configs since 2014. We expect quality experiences. If our setup is too old, fine, change the min/recommended config then.

 

It was so hard for them to say they f*cked up with last RDO update so I don't expect any news soon about this issue.

The VIP work/Simeon list conflict has been going on at least since Diamond Casino Heist update - I guess no-one was doing Simeon lists because they pay so bad. I think it's because some VIP work (like Exec Search) disables Wanted Level.

And yeah, mine has changed from 800 RP Clubber award on one character to random 800RP awards on 3/4 characters.

Same with me. R* did a rollback for their RDO update recently, i hope we can get their attention as well.
