Jason
Yea I figure EA are gonna basically shadow drop it, which I don't mind but the leaks have kinda ruined it and it's making the wait very >:( I really just want to play an RPG like Mass Effect again. Obviously you've got all the story choices and all that stuff, but the linear level design will be a welcome sight after mountains of open world games. Dwnld
I personally hope that they do some tweaks on character animations. More specifically the ones in conversation scenes. It doesn't matter if the game looks like back in whenever they came out but those looped fist-on-palm smashes (Mass Effect) and weird eye animations (Mass Effect 3) became somewhat annoying after second play through. If the trilogy really is getting remastered that is. Edited August 22, 2020 by Dwnld

It's not officially confirmed yet as you probably know, but there's been a bunch of reputable "in the know" journalists who have said it is indeed a thing. EA have also confirmed they have a remaster coming in this fiscal year or something along those lines as well.
trip
So the new release date is November 7th? N7. sh*t like that makes me nervous. This better be happening. Mister Pink
Jeff Grub who teased unannounced remasters like Tony Hawk, also posted on this Twitter "re-mass-ter." Quote Updating his "Summer Game Mess" Twitter thread, a collection of rumoured major gaming events and reveals set to take place across 2020, Grubb added a 're-mass-ter' to the list, set to launch in October. When asked if the October date was going to be the release date or announcement date, he replied: "why not both?" https://whatculture.com/gaming/mass-effect-hd-trilogy-coming-this-october Edited August 28, 2020 by Mister Pink 𝙼𝚄𝚂𝙸𝙲 𝙽𝙾𝙽 𝚂𝚃𝙾𝙿

There's a chance the remaster makes changes I/we don't like. I might start soon as I beat The Witcher 3. I'm pretty close. Creed Bratton
I hope it's a proper remaster and not just some upscaled bullsh*t. But the fact that EA is not talking about it and it's supposedly being released in October, doesn't inspire confidence.
Mister Pink
Leaks say it's actually called Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. https://www.gamesradar.com/mass-effect-legendary-edition-is-reportedly-the-name-of-the-remastered-trilogy/ Also rumours say it's to be announced in October with an October release. I would love such a short announcement-to-release-date. This could make sense that it could be the game to get for mid-term over Halloween holidays. If it is released at the end of October, I would assume it will be announced at the start of October. Possibly Tuesday 5th? I don't know. Well, that's a pity but I don't mind. Cyberpunk will take up most of my gaming time over the next few months. And, it seems it's to add extra polish to the first game. That's good news that's it's going into bringing the quality it as apposed to some unforeseen issue delaying them from releasing. I wonder if Halo: Infinite backlash spurned them on a bit. Jason
Sad news if true, but I'm fine with it. Remastering three giant games that evolved significantly with each game aint no simple undertaking, even if the remaster features aren't anything major. At least it won't have to compete with other games this autumn/christmas for time. Zello
Shadowfennekin
Ah well, this is a very crowded time with Watch Dogs Legion, Cyberpunk, and AC Ragnarok all coming out near the same point lol Hope it doesn't launch close to Far Cry 6 cause I don't want to have to pause my adventure to cause chaos in Cuba Mister Pink

SageFan
I'm on the cusp of being mildly disappointed that they're not remastering Dragon Age: Origins, the far superior game, but this is alright. Slappy212

If it is being announced this year there's a very good chance it'll be on that day. Commander S and SageFan
Commander S
Yup - like how for something as minor as the Xbox One X enhancement patch for Andromeda, they made a thing of announcing/releasing it on November 7th 2018. And since folks with inside info were predicting both the announcement and release coming at different times in October, a November 7th teaser (if not full reveal) doesn't sound unlikely, IMO. SageFan
There's an EA sale on Steam today and while it features titles such as Dragon Age, Mirror's Edge and even ME: Andromeda, it does not feature the original Mass Effect trilogy. I'm thinking that's either likely to do with the fact Mass Effect was published by Microsoft or they're planning on releasing the remaster very soon. Jason
That's interesting, definitely could be because an announcement (if rumours are to believed, the release was delayed into next year) is imminent and they want to avoid people going "ffffffffffff I just bought the trilogy on sale bro". Zello
They're having a panel this weekend. Doesn't confirm anything yet we could all end up disappointed lmao. If you don't know who Jennifer Hale is she's the voice of female shepard in Mass Effect 1-3. Looks like it's the entire cast.
