Naturalist role: enforced nerf?

Has anyone else noticed the naturalist role (PVP) seems to have been an excuse to nerf  other professions ability to make money, trader being directly obvious as they are hard to do at the same time, but collector - using the excuse presumably of the trinkets from Gus - is also much more obviously nerfed? I think it was unnecessary if people wanted to grind out bucks all day the only real effect was a shed load more foppish players running around with ludicrously overstocked wardrobes.

 

Just saying I think that was definitely the intention, and I don't agree with the reasoning, whatever it was, probably in a minority but meh. I kinda liked switching between professions if I was bored, but survivalist tends to either indirectly or directly limit the ability to do this.

It’s actually made the trader role much easier as you can now bring  the legendary animal pelts to Cripps which fills the materials By almost half the bar. I don’t think it’s even nerfed the collector role and don’t know how you have come to that conclusion because it has nothing to do with it. You’re just talking nonsense.

 It's more difficult to get complete collections now compared to earlier. So no, that's not nonsense.

That’s rockstar’s reaction to jeanropke’s collectormap.  It has nothing to do with the naturalist role, it just happened to be updated together.

jeanropke still works. There are 2 differences.

 

The collector locations are still the same but what's at that location is random.

 

You will run into locations that give you nothing since not all collectibles are available every day.

 

Also, don't waste money on Nazar maps, which is what R* was probably trying to get people to do, because they can also lead you to locations that have nothing in them. I bought one that had nothing in all 3 locations.

As someone who spreadsheets all the earnings for every role, I have to say this is absolutely rubbish and has no basis in reality.
