Look, I'm the least creative guy I know, I've literally carved a career out by grinding and being the most efficient guy I know, but even I, with all of that being said, could have thought of the concept (definitely not the art) for 3-5 Trapper style clothing/accessory items for each Legendary Animal. 

 

When you do that, instead of what R* have done, you send the replay value of hunting these Legendary Animals through the roof and to the benefit of R*, you can increase the amount of time players spend hunting Legendary Animals instead of undertaking activities that pay far better and increase how much players will spend on cosmetic items exponentially.

 

The garment sets are lazy.

 

The garments aren't even close to an excuse for being lazy.

How i'm supposed to talk about bugs if i can't keep myself logged in a session for 1~4 minutes ???

 

The patch is a hell of a fkin' joke ....

 

GOD ONLY KNOW IF I COULD KEEP MYSELF MORE TIME IN A SESSION THE OTHER THINGS I WOULD FIND TO COMPLAIN.

 

- Constant 0x20010006 errors.

- In the time i was connected my camp didn't spawn at all.

- Fast Travels are broken.

- If i get disconnect from a session the game "freezes" at the select mode menu.

- Inconsistent and longer Loading Times.

- Invisible Horses with their Riders.

- People Clipping around on the ground.

 

Xbox One.

 

The fact i was playing without any trouble this last week, not being plagued by the disconnects the majority got into is making my blood boil.

 

I've played twice today ... the first time after the patch launched in my launch break (only played for 10 min, just to play a event and i didn't saw those problems) and the second ... almost 45 minutes ago.

 

The problems are recent and "appeared in the second time i've played", overall ... they are consistent ... people which played close when the patch launched (said positive things about the animal spawns and how other bugs were fixed) and right now, with a lot of complains and justified B&M. This IS getting worse (hour after hour), since more people is accessing the game and saying the same problems as me and others.

 

 

Also RIP my daily streak (once again).

Surely we're at the point where R* need to add those back up lobbies so we can have more control of our game and reduce whatever issues show up. If these problems keep showing up because of high player counts and lobbies are too busy, they need to let us reduce that at least until next gen.

 

And of course, the hackers and such on PC doesn't seem to have eased with that 'massive' update too. Lobby choices will definitely help there. Communities grow and thrive in GTA through how likeminded come together to this day, 7 years later, we need that here rather than people seeking solo lobby glitches, dragging out missions to hunt in peace, or avoiding other players entirely like I do when I see any coloured dot on the map through distrust.

 

I'm just amazed after this long now, this sh*t is no better than beta. Amazing!

This is a great point too. Pretty scary to imagine but easy to see it will. And worse yet, if GTA has any major bugs or money glitches, they'll take priority potentially and this game could be waiting a good few days for a patch, maybe even next week.

althought i sense that they genuinely tried to make things right for tomorrow new wave of legendaries, i just cant figure out the whole picture...The patch was so so bad that it cant be considered just a mere f*ck up... i have never seem something like this after an update in any game, a few bugs... sure... that nothing at all works... even the basic physics of the gameplay ?... never ever. The outcome yells that the group of people in charge of testing the update lead the weekend a few days in a lazy fashion without testing this. Negligence has a limit no matter what, this must be just idle rashness.

In other era this would have been good... we need an insider that leaks their server structure... why gta works so different ? Why it has solo lobbies ? Etc.

The sort of mess we have now would make more sense if this patch came the day after the DLC, but it's been much longer than that, lol. Think it's been a week since they tweeted they knew of the issues many were having with disconnects even.

PS4 Pro, patch size 160mb.

Nothing works except eating/picking plants and collectables i found just riding around.
Rhodes was empty except for clerks, one horse running in place, and a driverless moving wagon.

No people, no animals, no camp, no Harriet, and no can enter shine shack.
Hopped a moving train with no driver, hopped off to find my horse had vanished.
Then found stable was busy, hunting wagon being sent, and camp is being pitched.
Attempted to start a shine mission and got a blue screen.

Cleared cashe and gave it another go.
Infinite 80% load when picking camp as enter choice.
Picked free roam and loaded in successfully but with nothing working like before.
There was however one horse without a rider, one horse with a rider, and a coyote, alive but just standing in place.
Harriet's tent and Lagras were near and both empty of people. Again i could not enter my shine shack or start a shine mission.

I did do 2 dailies, bulrush picked and cooked seasoned crab meat.
Lobby sizes have ranged from 2 - 12 in the 4 times i was able to load in.

This has been my only experience where a patch has completely broken a game.

As of 10 minutes ago I got the blue error screen on PS4.  Loaded into an empty camp site 4 times and blue screened before I could move away or check objectives.  Totally unplayable.

I just got my passive dayly and got over it, i suggest you to do the same. Seek other game pal, in my case it is good i still have ghost of thushima on my shelve, because i am sure they are not fixing this tomorrow, on thursday with luck.

The 40+ re-skinned coats is just so they can throw an event week together for next 15+ weeks, easy to drip feed for the all interns who are now assigned back to RDO.

 

It's like they got the A team to fix 250+ bugs, the once everyone spent their gold on the new role all the interns went back to releasing "patches", and this is what we get.

Good evening mister Darkmaster234!

 

I will tell you a little story from the beginning of GTA:O. R* told the players that online can´t handle both 15 players and animals in the same lobby. Move along a couple of years and we got heist released on Ps3 and Xbox 360. Shortly thereafter bugs and issues started to show up in the game and it got worse. R* moved over to current generation on console telling that the old generation couldn´t handle anything they had planned.

And why you ask GTA:O work so different? There is less things to keep taps on!

 

So that is why Red Dead Online is in a bad state! R* reached for the stars but hasn´t the infrastructure to get there!

And they hope that next generation of console is going to be more powerful than this one so they don´t need to walk away from ther P2P system!

 

And the lobby choice in GTA:O is from GTA IV not as good but you could play together with friends and just mess about!

My day. Before patch in a private lobby. My friend got the cougar that spawns around Gaptooth Breach. I got the marble Fox this morning. 
 

After patch. Another private lobby hours of no LA. I haven’t scored the Ozula Elk yet, I watched some YouTubers declare “ Legendary Animal Spawns Fixed!” I log in tonight, in a lobby with eight people, not even common animals or my camp would spawn. 😒

 

Maybe it’s time they admit they can’t make a fun game with the bullsh*t restrictions, with their sh*tty servers....

Xbox One. Have logged in to a series of lobbies with between 3-20 players, no animals except horses pulling carts, no moonshine shack, camp appeared but resupply mission crashed the Xbox (not just the game, the console itself!). 

 

It's very weird to be in the world without animals. Kind of like Westworld starting to go wrong. They should introduce an unkillable NPC to chase you around.

 

I will say things were great earlier today but right now it's a fiasco.  I would hope some team at R* is getting chewed out for this.

Every step R* makes this game so dependant on small lobbies or solo play to actually work or be playable.

 

Yet, they also won't let you play solo or with an invite only lobby.

 

I don't get it. It's like if someone made a game that is 100% designed for VR, but you can't use a VR headset because it's hard locked out.

Just admit it R* RDO is unplayable 'your way' give us solo and private lobbies so the game can be playable.

 

 

Edit: Just attempted to play. Lobby of 3 people and the game hard crashed/froze after about a minute. Never had the game hard crash like this before.

 

How does something this broke AF even clear Sony/MS/Steam's validation process?

 

ATTENTION:

 

My X1X sounds like a Boeing taking off and heats up hot AF when playing RDO before the game hard freezes after a few seconds.

 

I tried playing Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order as comparison - No issues, runs quiet no crashes! Meanwhile RDO makes the X1X fan scream and the system is HOT to touch.

 

The latest X1X RDO patch  could possibly BRICK your console!

Logged in and had 3 people max in my lobby.

 

• I had no animals
• no npcs

• I couldn’t mount my horse but could walk through it as if it was invisible

• wagons were still going around the map but with no npcs

• every now and again I might meet one npc but they were not targetable or killable. 
 

This patch is completely rushed and definitely hasn’t had enough testing. They have pushed it out so they can then concentrate on the gta update. 
 

I know for a fact some members of rockstar currently switch between working on rdr2online and gta. Now I’m not saying this effects their update process but currently everything in rdr2online seems rushed with no real passion or focus. Get the feeling they haphazardly piece it together so they can quickly move on and focus on gta.

Not trying to troll or be a smart ass here, but I played for 1 hour and has no issues whatsoever. No infinite loading screens, animals spawns were fine as far as I could tell, although I wasn't hunting for legendary animals. Did a few daily challenges, a moonshine run and one Harriet legendary animal mission. I wasn't experiencing any of the issues that people have been facing here. I must have lucked out and got into a golden session or something.

 

I have no doubt that the rest of you are suffering though. Very strange that this "patch" seemingly broke things. And I've love to see some patch notes on as to what was actually "fixed" here.

To add to that, I did see other player blips on the map, but when going to where they were, no one was in the spot, just a blue dot. Left some dynamite sticks on the spot, didn't kill anyone. Blue blip remained on the minimap. If they are experimenting with solo lobbies, I might reinstall.
