Story Mode 2.0

Hello friend, what do you think of these suggestions:

 

1.You could restore some (Not all) beta missions like Doberman or Impound using cinematics created by you (They don't have to be like TTDISA where they grab the ones in the game, they can be like DYOM type) since I think it would give it a better experience to history.

 

2. You could bring Big Bear as an assistant for the conquest of territories in exchange for a certain amount of money (5000 Dollars) after he comes out of rehabilitation since he has unused dialogues and texts where it is seen that he will participate in the gang battles in addition that there was an unused skin where he is obese or you can give him the skin from the Ped database 2.2 Mod that was recommended to him.

 

3. In the Cesar race where we have to go with a Lowrider, the competitors use Majestic and it really is a beta error that they didn't correct so why not give them Lowrider cars for more consistency in the race.

i think about this a lot of times, but i always step back because i think it would look cheap to implement cutscenes that either doesn't exist or just reusing another cutscene that doesn't fit, also i want to maintain a difference between this mod and TTDISA, so it doesn't look like a cheap copy and also because you can choose which one you prefer

Ok I understand but let me tell you something... only TTDISA restores those missions so there are no more mods that do it but don't worry I understand your position, but what do you think about the rest of the options... nobody has done the Big Bear one before and I think that It would really fit well in the story.

Hey you could also improve the AI of the police since apparently the "Fair Police" mod is not compatible with Story Mode and causes errors so you could fix it or make the police more intelligent in your mod.

Sorry for the insistence but it seems to me a great mod that could rival TTDISA in the future👌.

If you're referring to that CLEO mod, I have that script installed on my copy too along with Story Mode 2.0 included and I experience no issues with the police in-game unless you're referring to a specific mission and such where the issue is happening.

It happened to me on a few occasions in "Los Santos" near the motel at the start of the game, I provoked the ballas near the police but the moment they were alerted the game crashed at the moment the police shot.
I tried it without Story Mode 2.0 and it worked fine so I figured they weren't compatible so I deleted the "Fair police" mod and continued playing.

Sorry, i'm a bit dumb and the readme.txt file is very vague, it tells me to only move one folder (to gta3.img) to my modloader folder (Story Mode 2.0). Should I listen and do that or put the entire thing into my modloader folder?

It's true, also this mod is a little closer to the original story mode, while TTDISA is not, still, you could consider adding some extra things like unique skins for mission characters, like you did with Kane in the graves, you could do The same with other characters, for example Cesar Vialpando's friends in Los Desperados Mission, now moving on to something else, I think you should verify and correct the Popcycle.dat file, since when using it the game policemen are greatly reduced, to the point that the only way for them to come for me was by having 4 stars, from 3 and below it is very unlikely that you will come across any, and there are no longer even policemen on motorcycles in the streets, I am not sure if it is the popcyce.dat or cargrp file, since I replaced the 2 and the problem was solved.

I personally recommend that you do not replace any game files and put everything in the modloader folder, in an organized way obviously, you can create a new folder and put everything that came in the download in there, and put that folder in moloader

Hi, I love this mod, I've already passed the story mode several times with this mod, that's why I'd like to help, a person who doesn't know much about modding really gets confused when downloading this mod and seeing how disorganized it is , it happened to me the first time, I would like to help you organize the download, do you have discord? I would also put mip maps on the character textures among other minor corrections that the download of the mod has

Most of the problems in the mission the graves are due to the special model of kane used in this mod, I recommend that you check if the files KANE.TXD and KANE.DFF are in modloader, inside a folder called gt3.img and with the Maximum priority

waiting for an official response from the author of the mod, for whoever wants, here is an organized download of the mod, just put the whole folder in modloader and give it the highest priority, now the download is organized, the character models and their textures now have a correct DTX1 compression, thanks to magic.txd, I also added the Extended Gang War file since it seems a bit silly to me that the .INI file comes and not the .ASI, since many people do not know that they have to download it separately , I also added the mod that adds the 20 graffiti of the San Fierro raffle, credits to Junior Djjr, this download is stable, I have already passed the story mode 2 times with this without any problem, the only thing that would be missing would be the correction of the cargrp.dat and popcycle.dat files that at the moment in the original download are causing the motorcycle cops to not appear correctly, but I prefer to wait for an official correction from the author of the mod, in the same way, if anyone wants and these corrections so that your motorcycle policemen appear correctly on the streets, let me know and I will gladly send you the files corrected by me, which are safe, as I mentioned, I have already passed the story mode 2 times and I did not find any errors

the problem about Modloader is that i don't use it very often and when i do, i have no problems (probably because i don't use it for many things) so when people have problems with the modloader, then i'm cannot give them a proper solution

Well, the Mixmods administrator (Junior) fixed the Modloader problem when he uploaded your mod to the page, according to him "it was badly organized" but now I fix it and it works very well.

The problem of the policemen did not occur to me either, but you could bring more skins of gang members since it would really be much better if they vary a lot and not only them but some characters like Cesar, Kendall or Sweet could change their appearance depending on the mission (A Sweet skin without the family colors, a much more elegant Kendall skin, Cesar beta in San Fierro and "los desesperados")

Can any1 help? My game crashes after i install this mod right after finish loading. it doesnt show any errors,just quit. I tried new game,But it got not responding in the airport titles. please help
also heres a list of my mods

some of these mods might be creating conflicts with this, check the files of all of them and see if there's some files that repeats

I encountered a relatively minor bug in Mountain Cloud Boys.

 

When arriving at the entrance of the alleyway by car two things happen:

  1. CJ will be stuck in place the moment he exits his vehicle and movement can only be restored if enabling & disabling airbreak through a trainer
  2. The dialogue that's suppose to trigger between Carl and Woozie in the alleyway doesn't play

 

However, entering the marker on foot and none of the two issues occur. Marked this as minor, because I still passed the mission with the two bugs occurring.

 

Not sure of the root cause, I tried removing all other mods I've installed, reinstalled the game with only Story Mode 2.0 and the issue still persists.
