Can't buy butcher table

Unable to acquire the trader role as the butcher table does not appear as an option to buy from Cripps. I Have read the letter from Cripps and gone to the general store and watched the cutscene. My objective in the progression tab is marked as "purchase the butcher table from the wilderness outfitter to become a trader." I have seen other users with the same issue.

Yep seems it's a problem for everyone. I hope we don't have to wait until December for R* to fix this

It's been a problem for me as well, and we're not alone either. Hundreds of people are reporting this issue. All you can do is submit a ticket to Rockstar Support. It won't fix it right away, but the sooner you do it, the better.

Yes, I hope they fix it soon, because also I have a 5 gold bars discount for the table with Twitch Prime and the game says that my discount ends the 30th november and I can't buy the table because of their broken online, what a mess Rockstar, they literally BROKE a entirely role for new players or people who couldn't buy it in the past, I think is a very important issue, it is not a little bug of the game, they broke the trader entire role, I can't believe that hasn't been fixed yet...

I also have the same problem after the Naturalist update. The first thing I did check after the last update was to check if this was fixed and unfortunately it's not. Not only they did not fix the trader role that but they managed to completely break the game... Unbelievable stuff. I mean I had a lot of problems with black screen disconnects but at least I could play the game for a bit. Now it's just unplayable.

 

Edit: After the new patch 1.22 the game runs great but unfortunately the butcher's table is still missing. I just sent a ticket to Rockstar support, that's the only thing I can do aside from waiting for a future patch to fix this.

 

Edit 2: After sending a ticket to Rockstar support they fixed the problem within hours for me! The butcher table (along with stew pot and weapons locker) finally appeared on the equipment list! So I instantly bought the butcher's table and started the trader role! I'm so happy it's so solved, now can also try the Moonshiners role after this!

 

So if anyone is still have the problem you should contact Rockstar support asap and hopefully they will fix it for you too!

Weird they can do that.  I've been waiting 16 days for them to fix it.

Well, I don't know what to say. Maybe I was just lucky? I also waited since the Naturalist update for a fix but the 2 new patches didn't fix it. I searched online and found out that this was a common problem across all platforms (PS4, Steam, Xbox) so I was just waiting for an general fix. But 2 days ago I decided to send R* support a ticket and thankfully they fixed it. I wasn't expecting anything tbh so I was really pleasantly surprised. Maybe it's not possible to fix the problem for everyone but send another ticket to the support team and maybe you will get it fixed this time. Best of luck to anyone who is still affected by this.

Nah they must be mocking us, they are offering a 5 gold bars discount this week at butcher´s table and we can´t buy it because IT´S BROKEN, what the hell are they doing? I really can´t think that they are not aware of that problem

FINALLY, I AM ABLE TO BUY IT. Well, more than one month later, but hey It´s finally here, I think they fixed it at least for me at tuesday events update.
